Bendleby Ranges reviews
73If you like camping or 4wding then this is your mecca. Some amazing remote camp spots spread throughout the farm far enough away form everyone else you feel like you have the farm to yourself. There's showers, toilets and a camp kitchen to service every need. Then there's the 4wd tracks. They range from "dirt driveway" all the way up to "brown stained pants" which will test the nerve of even the most seasoned of veterans. Some take a bit of navigating as not all tracks are fully signposted but they hand you a map to get you through the tricky bits. They even supply wood for your fire, hard to beat.
This was a beautiful place. I have a 2WD and they looked after me, going the extra mile to get me to my campsite. Gorgeous hikes, isolated camp site where I could take my dog, and peace. They provided firewood and a toilet. Kids loved it.
Thank you Luckrafts. Excellent stay at Gumdale and had a great time testing out the new vehicle on tracks. Be back again.
Absolutely Beautiful make sure Bendleby ranges is on your bucket list.
Awsome tracks especially the scenery, we stayed at in unpowered remote camp site called bradys, Thanks to the legends at Bendleby for allowing us stay and share such a unforgettable experience in there back yard,
SEE YOU AGAIN SOON
We stayed in the Acacia Cottage it was a traditional cabin and did the job, only problem I had was the Fridge was too small only a bar fridge and with 4 people staying for 3 - 4 days it needed to be twice as big condiering the closest shop is an hour a way. Nice and quite very relaxing, beautiful scenery and great for mountain bikes and walking. Prepare to get dusty and dirty. No WIFI unless you sit outside the office.
Wow what a great place, stayed in the acacia cottage for 2 nights and camped for 3, camp sites are far enough apart so you arent on top of everyone one, great walks, wildlife and 4wd tracks, Charlie and Kylie were great with local knowledge, if you can put up with the heat, go over the xmas break, had the whole station to ourself, will be back again to show our friends.
One of the best camping and 4wd destinations in SA. Remote camp sites are secluded and quiet, firewood is provided and 4wd tracks are excellent, ranging from easy to challenging. Billy Goat ridge is great for experienced drivers with a proper 4wd.
They staff were amazing and the views and locations were beautiful. I would highly recommend a camping trip to this area.
Very friendly staff, and the camping experience they offer is excellent. It is a beautiful part of the Flinders Ranges.
Great place too camp with fantastic views and the owners and starf are nice and helpful decently will go back again.
This is probably the best spot in the Flinders Ranges. I use it for school camps that I run but also take family and friends there for quick getaways from the city. The hospitality is perfect with everything you need for serious camping or glamping. Really the best.
Great range of accommodation, walks, 4wd tracks, beautiful scenery.
Love this place, been many times.
Stayed at Acacia cottage which was great. Good bbq area and the cottage has reverse cycle aircon. Good location if you intend to drive some of the 4wd tracks on the property.
The staff and owners were all so friendly and knowledgeable and will discuss your 4wd and driving skills before recommending tracks to try driving. There's also a training track to use near the cottage.
Bush camping is another option if you prefer.
I'll be back.
