Belair National Park reviews
89Belair National Park is an incredibly good place to come with your family. Kids activities, awesome playground, walking spaces and lots more. Trees provide plenty of shade and loads of parking. Highly recommended.
Most lovely place! Plenty of walking/hiking trails suitable for all abilities over varied terrain, enormous old trees, sweet little bush flowers & other flora, usually koala & kangaroo sometimes emu echidna, and always numerous various birds cockatoo kookaburra blue wren rosella parrots etc. Many lovely clean sheltered picnic table spots, bbqs, nice clean toilets, green grassy areas, kids adventure playground, & peaceful bush walks. Rangers knowledgeable friendly & helpful. Annual membership for vehicle entry very economical, can't believe such a great bush experience so close to the city, we visit very frequently!
Beautiful place to take my daughter. Regularly see koalas and kangaroos, and the ducks are friendly enough to sit inbetween your feet while you feed them seeds or rolled oats!
Belair National Park is definitely one of the best places to spend time with your family. The lake is a highlight of the park. You can see a lot of cool kangaroos and koalas everywhere!
Stayed 3 nights on a powered site. Great position really nice owner operators which is a change from the coporate parks.
20 mins from Adelaide CBD. Quiet and clean.
Me and my boyfriend had a great campsite for our small van next to the toilets and the kitchen for a few days, which was everytime free when needed. The management was very friendly and understanding!
The best is the National Park where you can see Koalas and Kangoroos
- we would come back:)
Lots of natural shade, hiking trails within Belair Park, and a great Children's Adventure Playground. When we were there on the Saturday, a van selling ice-creams, coffees and snacks was set up for business. There was an abundance of birdlife in the shady trees surrounding the picnic grounds. Good public toilet facilities were adjacent to picnic grounds.
Great park with plenty to do for kids and adults. Some beautiful nature especially lots of bird life with Gallaa, Adelaide and eastern Rossella, Lorakeets, Yellow tailed white Cockatoo. We managed to spot a couple of Koalas in the trees. On a lovely walk on one of there many to choose from.also looks a great place for biking. Kids loved the experience too.
Love this space ️
It's a really good place to go and chill for an hour or take the fam and spend the day there's plenty to do, cricket, tennis, camp, walk you get the idea, check opening times
Beautiful surrounds, welcoming staff/owners. Well priced shop necessities.
Next door to golf club with great facilities.
Wonderful caravan park ever for me during the round trip of Australia. I really miss this place with a lot good memories except someone stole away my underwears. If there is a chance, I wanna go back again for resting.
Visit here regularly and haven’t got a bad word to say. The new management went above and beyond for us on a very busy public holiday and was so appreciative of their hospitality
A fantastic place for the solo traveller and family alike. Always something wonderful to discover if you keep your eyes peeled. Its a pity that the multitude of tennis courts do not get the use they demand in such a beautiful surround.
Have been visiting this park for 30 years and still love every bit of it. Good range of walking trails and a reasonably challenging mountain bike track as well as cycling on the roads and some of the tracks. Plenty of kangaroos especially earlier in the morning and evenings plus koalas are easily spotted.
Beautiful flora all around and nice selection of trails to follow. We were lucky to spot a Koala. Heaps of bid life to spot too. Nice little playground for the kids.
Very accomodating when emergency storage was needed for a large caravan when the Cruiser turned belly up. Ryan is a top bloke!
We went last Suturday to the park (beginning of October). We saw lots of native orchids, coala, and kangaroos. Hiking was perfect. Beautiful natural setting. Great to go for a long walk with kids. Suits everyone. Orchids are unique and exquisite. We had lots of fun and enjoyed this marvelous nature
Visit the caravan and cabin park, right on the boundary of the famous Belair National Park and km of walking bush trail. Visit Dave and Val the new operators of the park.
Paid $12 to park here and the hike was mostly a bush walk. It was spring but the waterfall was dry so there really wasn’t much of a view throughout the hike. Would not recommend, there are many better hikes and nicer parks that you can go to for free!
Beauriful park with lots of picnic/bbq spots. Dogs can be on lead here too which is fantastic, choice of walks and hikes for all abilities and fitness levels.
