Beck's Bakehouse reviews
50Buzzing spot near the beach - Ordered the vanilla slice, custard tart, chilli and cheese kranskies. All perfect!
Went here for afternoon tea. Although it was noisy, we enjoyed a generous serve of fruit scones with jam and cream. Will return here again for lunch.
Friendly nice staff great range of cakes including my favourite fingerbuns with sultanas and they have white sugar
Great spot, dog friendly, kids love the milkshakes and doughnuts!
It can get busy at times, but it’s well worth the wait!
Excellent food was available on a Sunday. Capable system of customer identification using technology.
More than a bakery. This place feels like it's embedded in the community. Staff are super friendly and the service is great.
Professional service and staff. Very relaxing atmosphere. Definitely would be going again 10/10
The best lunch place in town, great and friendly staff, the food is so fresh and delicious
My favourite bakery by far. Huge selection to choose from and very friendly efficient staff. My dogs love the doggy donuts too
I am a chef, and I love going to Beck's great coffee, and lovely pies. And it's always busy. Don't know y this place didn't win bakery of the year.
Coffee skills are non existant and then to argue the point that a short black is NOT a half a cup of black water.
Food wasnt heated through.
Never coming back.
Asked for a Ned Kelly pie told they don't make them but it's on the menu and a jam Berliner and got a jam donut instead never again
Unfortunately I didn't experience the service you would expect from a supposedly friendly and welcoming cafe style bakehouse. Service by the old lady in the bakery section was rude, arrogant and unnecessary. After spending over $50 on bakery goods I was ridiculed for daring to place drinks down for payment after I had moved from the front of the queue!
There won't be a next time.
Pastry was undercooked (to the point of being inedible), donut was stale and chewy and not enough tomato sauce provided. Charging for tomato sauce is unAustralian, not providing enough is criminal. It was super loud and all over just not great. I feel bad rating two stars but all in all it was.pretty average.
Way to busy for a country person. Difficult to order. Takeaway food went cold waiting for takeaway coffee. Didn't agree with elderly having to carry own food and hot drinks with young kids running around. Staff should take items to the tables.
Great food, friendly service, reasonably priced.
Outdoor seating area with outdoor blinds and heated for cold weather.
This is a great southern hang out, they do get very busy at times but with the extended undercover outdoor area it a great place to meet up for coffee. Great fresh sandwiches and good coffee
Very crowded which means the place is GOOD very busy which means the place is GOOD.great friendly service and great food n coffee
Love this place! Such a great local bakery that is always busy cause they offer such fresh baked goods, always tasty & good service
