Beaumont House reviews
11End of Pioneer Women's Walk, so it was a beautiful relaxing place to finish in the gardens and next to the gorgeous homestead.
The food was great and service staff were friendly helpful and great. However you need to keep the water jug filled for the guests. Also find someway to level up the tables and chairs you couldn't sit properly and comfortably as you were trying to keep yourself balanced. A lot of guests were having the same issues. The frothy guys at the drinks bar were very friendly and helpful as well. Is a very lovely setting for having a function. Address above issues and it would be just about perfect.
Absolutely lovely location. A great venue event facilitator too. Highly recommend the gardens on a spring day for a party or wedding.
I would definitely recommend doing a tour to learn about the history and interesting facts. Tours are held regularly, more information found on the website. Venue can be booked out for a wedding or special event/functions. The gardens are kept beautifully, so aesthetic. The staff & volunteers are lovely and most helpful.
The rest rooms do need some attention on the busier tour/viewing days.
I also attended a Halloween Event - Spooky Trail held in the gardens over the weekend. The displays and trick or treat stations were well coordinated and I would recommend for the younger kids to enjoy.
The garden is beautiful and Beaumont House looks great from the outside in that setting.
The only way to see the inside is by a guided tour on an open days and that is what we done. Once inside we were told that taking photos is not allowed.
The house in not big and most of it is taken up by National Trust offices.
The foyer is set up as a museum. We saw the dining room, a small room and the kitchen and left by the side door. It was cramped even for the small groups. The drawing room is big enough but we only got a glimpse.
Disappointed.
Beautifully presented throughout. Immaculate lawns and gorgeous gardens. Perfect place for a picnic listening to live jazz band.
Attended a wedding at this venue, where the garden setting provided an exquisite background. The chairs were arranged under a magnificent tree which provided shade on a hot day. The catering service post wedding was disappointing.
This is a beautiful historic building with the most gorgeous gardens anywhere in SA. It is so tranquil to walk through the paths here. There are so many native varieties to discover and some introduced species that blend in so well with them. Some were the beginning of industries that we rely so heavily on today.
What a beautiful place for my nephews wedding 16/11/19. Stunning day beautiful back drop. Perfect wedding perfect venue.
A very interesting place to visit. The guides were very nice and had a lot of fascinating information.
A lovely place to wander through and the gardens were beautiful.
Beautiful historic house with well maintained gardens. Thanks to the volunteers who put so much effort into maintaining this site and offering a wealth of knowledge on the guided tours.
