Beach Hotel Seaford

ALH has done it again. Our first-time function at the hotel, and we were truly blown away. Beautiful room with all the tech and the food platters were so brilliantly done, I had to go and see the chef. This place is so beautifully appointed and very tastefully renovated. Such a hidden gem. We'll see you again next time.

It was near empty when we arrived but still took half an hour to get a steak sandwich with chips and a beef pie with mash potatoes, peas and jus.
The chips were over cooked, way over salted and cold. Pretty much inedible. The steak was also over cooked and black on the underside.
My daughters pie was also not good but she can write her own review.

Took 45mins to bring out a Steak Sandwich and Graziers Pie, with only about 6 people in the dining area. The beef pie was supposed to have a red wine jus; but came out with no sauce whatsoever. When I mentioned this, they brought out a gravy. The pea mash on the pie was stone cold like it had come out the fridge. Chips with the steak sandwich were cold and way over-salted (worse than KFC chips). Steak on the steak sandwich was overcooked and burnt. Didn't see much point asking for it to be re-cooked as we didn't have time to wait another 45mins and all the food coming out appeared to be of the same standard.

Some of the worse service tonight if I could give a no star rating I would.first the meals were mixed up and not right.we were then told because of it. We would get the chicken for free (four people witnessed this and heard it) was then over heard that this wasn't said when it was.then the lovely manager Jake asked us if we'd like him to bring the chef back to cook. (the chef had gone home) very argumentative and would not resolve this problem. Safe to say will NEVER be going back.

Do not go near near the bar in the restaurant, you will be told off. Waited 20
Minutes to be offered a drink after being told I can’t order at bar. Waiting further 20 minutes for drink to arrive. Absolutely no craft beer at this pub. This is unheard of. Disgusting selection, no support for the Fleurieu. Food amazing though. Avoid this place if you want a quality drink.

Great place and lovely meals. Everyone at our table was happy with their food and table service was a nice touch ;) staff were friendly, there is ample seating. Will be good to see bathrooms get a bit of maintenance next.

Great food, menu has limited options but the pork and prawn dumplings were amazing! Friendly service. Great spot for families. Will visit again.

We had a very good time. Every meal was delicious. I had the beetroot and feta salad and may I say it was tasty and filling and delightful. I also had pecan pie for dessert, that I also enjoyed. We were a table of 9 and everyone finished their meal with satisfaction. You will see us again. Keep the chef and staff. Friendly, efficient and polite. I need to add to this, some meals have changed, but the service and quality has not. You should go and enjoy a great meal and excellent service.

Used to visit maby once a month, but after witnessing the meat head security (atleast 150kg) full force laying ontop of a girl (probably 40kg) with everything he had for over half an hour waiting for police to arrive is BEYOND excessive.security has absolutely no rite to detain anyone like this dude did, at the end of it he was doubled over trying to catch his breath like he ran a marathon! Well done super hero, you pinned a tiny, drunk chick for half a hour.not one female staff member was outside either, just 4 tough security guards.like seriously, all of you go have a hard look in the mirror.

(regardless of what this chick supposedly did or didn't do, you don't use that sort of force for anything short of your life in immediate danger)

Security guards are very ignorant. I was a patron, out with my Mum, with cerebral palesy and I was told that I was too drunk and kicked out. Blonde, overweight, supposedly female security guard was incredibly rude. I was asked why i couldn't walk properly - disablist and should never occur again. I hope this place hires people that do their job properly and without bullying people.

We often send our staff here because they love it. One of our staff went last night and commented on how good the food and staff were. She said her server Angel, had excellent recommendations.

Good meal, beer prices definitely over priced, meals where good prices, very good table service.

Took our best friend here who is very ill for lunch. The service and food was outstanding. Thank you for making her day pleasant

Nice pub good meals they have live music and DJs there as well good beer garden staff are friendly nice decor with a few different dinning areas as well

Nice place to go for a family meal. The food was good, the serving size was generous and the service excellent. Plenty of parking.

Lovely place, nice decor, friendly staff and yummy, good value food. Will definitely be going back.

Had a great evening. Had the vegan eggplant parmy which was just amazing and the topped off the evening with the best cup of coffee made with So Good soy milk! So hard to find places using this product. My kids also really enjoyed their meals with my grandies meal coming out super fast. The staff were also amazing!

First time here celebrating a Birthday with my folks. Furnishings were tastefull, our waitress was great, I missed her name but very professional, even a late request to omit chips was granted as dads hatred for potatoes runs deep being whacked over the head as a boy if he didnt finish his mashed potato. Prices were very competitive to even being on the cheap side. Would recommend and return.

Always a great place to have a meal and meet up with friends Service is great and food is a definite bonus
