Be Won Korean Restaurant reviews
41 They managed onions very well. We enjoyed most of the food we ordered here. The price for their portion here is a bit too high. For the four of us with the food we ordered took us almost 200 dollars. We have too as we might end up filling hungry or unsatisfied. Towards the end of the meal, the food gets a bit salty. Can’t complaint much, but overall, still all right dinner.
PS: oh they may charge birthday cake open fee per person. Don’t know if other place does this. But something worth noticing.
Still not finish my meal but they keep come to ask " Can I take the plate? "
Why so hurry?
Also their toilet is dirty.
We had dinner with a family friend (five people) on 11 October 2023. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the environment. We ordered beef bulgogi bibimbap, kimchi pancake, army stew, soy garlic Korean fried chicken, kimchi fried rice and some other (please see the pictures). Army stew was the best that we all liked. I highly recommend it if you’re interested to try Korean food
Decent sized serves. Not too much batter on Kwings which is good. Soy garlic sauce was just a little bit too sweet. Kimchi pancake was crunchy and yum. Blackbean noodles and the tofu soup dishes were tasty. Kimchi fried rice was surprisingly tasty. Overall enjoyed it.
Since moving from Victoria in January this year, we have been to a few Korean restaurants to satisfy our craving. BeWon is one of few that can satisfy us tastebuds.
Although it is our 1st time there, we are blown away by all the dishes we have ordered. The kimchi is absolutely, fermented to perfection with right balance of sourness.
Will definitely be back even though your are 1.5 hours away from where we live.
Wow think we have just found our new regular Korean Restaurant!
The service was efficient, friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! We have been searching for an alternative since Miga Korean closed down.
The Korean fried chicken, sweet chilli was delicious, crunchy and a kick of spicy yummo!
The kimchi pancake and dumplings were also delicious
Definitely recommend if you are keen for some tasty Korean food, can't wait to try the other dishes.

Came here for an early dinner with my friend right it opened at 5: 30pm and already there were a few people having food.
We were both craving the K. F. C so we ordered the boneless sweet chilli flavour, as well as the kimchi pancake. Kimchi pancake came first and we couldn't wait to dig in since we were both quite hungry. The crust was so so crispy, and they were generous with the kimchi and onion portion which was great. The natter to filling ratio was pretty much perfect and we both really enjoyed this dish. The fried chicken came a little later and we thought the presentation was pretty authentic, just like what you get in a fried chicken place in South Korea. However, the first bite in we knew it was far off from being the real deal. The batter wasn't crunchy enough with that crispy texture I always look for in Korean fried chicken. Though the sauce was similar 3.5/5 I would say. The radish that came with it was not as sour/ pickled as I wanted it to be, but I suspect it's because it's been adapted to the local palette.
Overall, I thought it was an okay Korean restaurant. My friend did think the service could have been better as one or two staff members weren't attentive or quick enough to respond, when the restaurant was literally 80% empty.
This is Korean food at another level. Service is good, food taste amazing. The Black Bean Noodle (Ja Jang Myun) is the best in town. Noodle is cooked to perfection and the sauce is not over powering. The Korean Seafood Pancake is also different from other places. Batter and seafood filling ratio is just nice and the batter is soft.
A visit to Korean restaurant is not complete without the KFC. We had the generous half Nd half whole chicken with sweet chilli and soy garlic sauce. The chicken are crispy well coated with the sauce and I can taste generous amount of seasoning in the sauce. My favourite sauce to go with this is the soy garlic.
Absolutely beautiful restaurant.
Good food good service good atmosphere.
Everything was perfect.
If you need any help, ask Won. (Best staff ever)
He will help you to choose and will get perfect service.
If you visit Adelaide, it is a bit pricey but must try.
Really recommend you try this Korean restaurant.
Authentic and very flavoursome Korean food.
The spicy Beef Bulgogi is so good, Korean fried chicken yum, side dishes.tick, dumplings.delicious tick.
Recommend a Cass Korean beer.
Staff are lovely and will answer any questions you may have about menu.
Fried chicken was crispy, bit dry. Kimchi and bacon fried rice was delicious and filling. Service was prompt.
Website said they close at 10: 30, but at 9: 35 we were presented the bill and told to finish up as they are closing in 10 mins. We got our food at 9pm, only 2 tables for the whole night.
Food tasted great, good for sharing with others, portion sizes were slightly smaller than I would have liked but not the fried chicken. Order the fried chicken, it's good.
The food was really delicious and filling. We didn't have a single problem with the food or drinks.
Customer service was good too and the girls were helpful when clarifying dishes or portion sizes
Really enjoyable experience today
Fantastic food and service. Group of friends sharing and the selection of wines also impressive. Will definitely go again and recommend to my Airbnb guests
The food is so good. Literally the best Korean dining place I have been in. Will definitely come again:)
The wokhei on the black bean noodles is the best. Fried chicken that has the perfect level of crunchy and sauciness with huge servings. Highly recommend - Kevin Guo
I'm always down for Korean food and this place definitely is now my fave Korean place to go to!
Everything was so delicious and worth it for money as well!
They sell jajangmyun (black bean noodles) and tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) which is best paired when eaten together.
Another must try is the beef short rib. The meat is so tender and so easy to eat.
Highly rate this place for a good, affordable Korean restaurant.
Great customer service here as well.
I haven’t tried your new outlet in Adelaide however a piece of my soul left with you the day you moved from Glenferrie Road.
Fed and loved for many years and everyone should try the delightful food lovingly created by a fantastic family.
Best Korean food that I have found in Adelaide to date, and I love my hot stone bibimbap and I come here especially for this. The prices are slightly more expensive than some other Korean restaurants but if you want something of better quality, then I highly recommend Be Won. Plenty of parking too in the area makes it easy to get to.
