Barossa Fine Foods Head Office reviews
21 I came here to buy some ingredients for a NYE charcuterie and they only had prepackaged prosciutto. The girls who served us also laughed when we exited which I found to be extremely rude.
We were given the excuse that the slicer had just been cleaned, it was 20mins until closing time so that is understandable, but they lost sales and repeat business due to this terrible service.
First time in the shop front after seeing a few mates come back with lunch from Barossa Fine Foods and it did not disappoint!
Plenty of delicious/ reasonably priced hot food options, they also do coffee.
Awesome selection of cold meats, cheeses, desserts and small goods.
I went the "Jodi Special" which is hot chips/ roast pork and gravy.the meat was soooo good, there was ALOT of it and it was cooked to perfection!
(Pic doesnt do justice, was hidden under chips)
Would like to see more AB style snack packs available with the meat more shredded/ pulled and maybe some cheese thrown in.or get creative and offer different sauce/ topping combos.
These guys definitely NEED to get on Ubereats, but if you live in the North its worth a visit.
The Burnside fish shop has changed their skin-on salmon to leave the scales on! Not at all customer friendly! The prices are way too high for this sort of treatment!
The fresh rolls are elite. They're open again.
The mayo famine in the ham rolls also appears to be resolved.
Just tasted our Christmas Ham (third year in a row), and did not disappoint. Now I'm wondering why I only buy it for Christmas and not all year round. 100% recommend.
Had our regular ham subbed in with some Barossa Fine Food Ham the other week.
It tasted like nothing, almost entirely devoid of flavour. I Can't say it tasted bad, it just tasted of nothing.
Also, it came in some of the most wasteful packaging I have seen in a while. Plastic sealed bag, inside a cardboard slip, with all of about 5 slices of ham inside.
Really disappointing from a local business, would not recommend.
I love all your range of sausages I'm from WA and u guys with your natural casings reminds me of my younger years and what the texture of real sausages should be thank you!
One of the product I purchased is of 100% quality of a whole sale product Vienna 5star sausages the other product schnitzel a 2star product should be listes as being crumbed on the whole sale list The amount of crumbs are over the top and the schnitzel are of uneven sizes which makes it difficult or even unacceptable for a restaurant meal.
I went back and complained about the product. Service was good 3.5 star for the inconvenience.

The lady behind the counter today 26.6.21 was extremely helpful, thank you. The best sausages in Adelaide
The mettwurst is the "WURST" I HAVE EVER HAD!
Sorry guys, but if you think this offering is traditional you are sadly mistaken.
The grind is too coarse, the meat mixture is not right and the spices are way off. Does not seem to have been smoked.
Terrible product. Will never buy again!
I have never had a bad experience here. Sometime when there is no stock out front, they have to go out the back to restock, that can be time consuming but i understand that it is a big warehouse and they have explained this to me. Walking in it always smells so good. They have a range of meats, desserts and pantry items as well as hot foods. Customer service has always been friendly and they are very knowlegable regarding their meat selections.
I bought the chunky steak and mismatch - pale ale sausages from an IGA in Qld.
My husband who loves sausages said they were the worst sausages he'd ever tasted! I agree - salt overload!
Disappointing staff changes, so did presentation of food. Used to feel welcome unfortunately now just a customer, little red meat displayed, either something changes or it will become run down take away shop
ALSO FAT FRIDAY CAKES NOT DISPLAYED, I know they have other outlets which we shop,
But its fat friday,
Sorry it but has to be said like they if you do not know there can't be a problem to fix.
Great, family owned, South Australian business. I get a lot of pork stuff there since I live close by and it's as fresh as you can get. Their Vienna sausages are pretty tasty, they do some amazing crackling, but the bacon is the best. They just started doing fish too. Will update my review once I've tried it.
Not great service at all. Could supply correct goods that had been ordered weeks ago. Had to wait for order to be assembled, previous years we went in and it was ready. Will not be returning, ever.
Ordered online in November for the first time but buying BFF sausages and small goods for years!
The Nuernberg sausages are great!
4 out 5 items I've ordered and paid for were not available and they replaced them! Not a big deal so far!
Pork schnitty pack is a rip off, below the most disgusting crumbs you'll find a hint of meat of very poor quality!
First time in our house a schnitty went in the bin!
On top, my email regarding this issue was totally ignored by customer service!
Very sad to make such a bad experience!
Your sausages are delicious best I have tasted, bought a range from your Edinburgh store. Amazing service from a lovely staff member, great dinner suggestions too!
They had always been helpful and love the food but don't like the message service when ever I've tried to preorder by phone.
I love their Edinburgh store the continental meats are great prices are better then shop outlets I find they make alot of the products for Standom etc I'm happy you can place an order & pickup really great around Christmas time when your flatout. Thanks
$85 for a 1kg bag of beef jerky. Only a few months ago, it was around $50. Absolutely ludicrous and money-hungry. I'll be making my own from now on, at 1/4 of the price (plus it's tastier AND healthier)
