I was fortunate to spend a day at the retreat with my daughter and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the pool and outdoor area. It was so nice to enjoy a day with other lovely ladies, enjoy a coffee and wine, beautiful morning/afternoon teas etc I did things I’d never imagine doing like chakra balancing, making vision boards and just taking time out for me. It’s great knowing that if I can’t stay for a weekend I can book in activities like massage, facials, bonsai and many other things to make a day of it. The hosts were wonderful and created such a fun relaxed environment for us all.

Beautiful building rich in history, clean, comfortable and welcoming. I absolutely loved everything about the home/apartments. Very well run and great staff. I would definitely stay again.

The retreats are amazing. So many activities, thoughtfully planned and executed with the participant in mind. I loved the Paint and Sip art class and Sumer, the resident masseuse is just the best. I loved the open and honest conversations with the people in the group - even those I have never met before. Would I go again? You betcha!

Whether you want to be booked solid from sun up to sun down with so many new and interesting experiences such as art classes, perfume making, psychic readings, floats, massages, pedis/manis, yoga just to name a few.or if you want to chillax by the pool/fire (depending on weather), there is something for everyone. The Ultimate Barossa Retreats are simply amazing. Accomodation is lovely in a beautiful setting. The experiences they offer at the retreat are fantastic. I have done mosaics, bonsai workshop, women’s health, pedicures, psychic, to name a few. Plus there are many more you can experience. I have been several times and each time I come away feeling revitalised and so calm. The location is perfect, close to all the shops and restaurants in Tanunda. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location in the main street of Tanunda - although this is quite a busy street, you cannot hear a thing inside thanks to the 100 year old stone walls.

Really well laid out conversion of this gracious historic house into four apartments. There are 3 one bedroom apartments and 1 three bedroom apartment (each apartment with its own bathroom), but it's possible to open the apartments to make a four/five/six bedroom house.

The three bedroom apartment has a kitchen, formal dining room and sitting room with an open fireplace.
Bedrooms, dining room, and sitting room all have split system heating/cooling as well as large opening windows, so you can be assured of being comfortable all year round.
Access to swimming pool and garden and full laundry.

Fantastic place to self cater or to help the local restaurants and coffee shops get back on their feet. Certainly an excellent option to visit the wineries, then take back a bottle to enjoy in front of the open fireplace.

Hosts are very lovely locals who were helpful and unobtrusive.

Stayed there with family over Christmas and we enjoyed it very much. Its a beautiful big old house with great historical vibe. Clean and very nice bedrooms. Also you can use sitting outside area or pool. Also in very nice location.

Unfortunately a bad experience staying here. The place was spacious but did not feel nor smell clean. The floor was covered in dust/dirt, especially the bathroom where there were white footprints left and a terrible smell, possibly mice? Looked as though some repair work had been done - flakes of something all over the spa bath.

There was a fridge, microwave and full set of cutlery and crockery but had to do all washing up in a tub / bathroom sink.

Has potential & nice to be provided with water, large milk and apple juice in fridge.

Perfectly amazing! We rented the entire house for a week and the house was so great because we could breakaway if we wanted.

Had a good time ln the Baroda valley went to a wedding ate the local food and drank the local wine a good holiday

This house is old and just fantastic, it served its purpose and was comfortable for 12 guest for the whole week plus a birthday dinner party and centrally located in the barossa valley with many cellar doors close by

IMO Very harsh terms and conditions left us with a sour taste, that said the property was neat and tidy.

My partner and I stayed in apartment 4 for two nights, ease of booking in, decent sized rooms and well equipped. Cleanliness could have been improved throughout, and equipment should be updated. Overall wouldn't stay here again for the price.
