Barossa Distilling Tasting Room & Bar - The Distillery

Booked online with no issues. Food was yummy. Had the cocktail tasting which was awesome looking with the staff very friendly and explained the process and which order to have them in. Overall a really nice day

Busy place and a bit cramped due to bad weather meaning can't dine outside but great food and beverages.

Unfortunately it took 25min for us to receive our cocktails even though we had a 2pm booking. As we only had an hour at the site, this left no time to visit the other business in the complex

Really enjoyed the tour, Neil and Brett were great, very informative, enjoyed how the tastings were done, and how different ways to enjoy them were advised, also how we werent pressured into buying anything as well. Happy to recommend.

Staff were lovely! They made a mistake with our table, fixed it and owned it. We had Gin tasting.yummy and pizza also yummy. Understand the building is heritage listed so they can't do too much in the building and was a little too cosy for kids. If the weather was nice they have a great outdoor area and would have been better suited. Not a fan of having to order via app, I prefer the personal approach for me its part of the dining out experience.

Beautiful space, delicious cocktails, good for menu, friendly, efficient staff. Definitely one to check out if you're all wined out

Such a wonderful spot located right by penfolds. The staff are welcoming and accommodating and the gins are out of this world. Something for everyone’s palette, from dry gin to sweet. Their are often limited edition gins available so it’s a place worth revisiting. You can have a drink, or do a tasting. There’s a few tables inside and lots outside. Whilst they don’t have a food menu, a neighbouring restaurant offer a menu at Barossa distilling co to order from. Worth a visit! @kirbystaltari

The wife tried the cocktail samples on a " paddle". She loved it. Also had salt and vinegar chips which were heavenly. Great place friendly staff.

Unsure if this place is trying to be a bar or a gin distillery door. More of a bar atmosphere. The gins were okay nothing to write home about, given that there are other fantastic gin distilleries around. Staff were friendly but could have walked through the tasting paddle more.

We always have a good time here. Great Gin selection and really good service from the friendly and knowledgeable staff.

We were welcomed by a lovely young lady, made to feel special & comfortable. Our lovely Hostess gave us menus. She explained about the Gin Flights & food available. On receiving our selection, she gave us background info and her personal insights on each and every gin. Explained how to get the best experience from sampling each one. She also provided written info on the best way to do the tasting. What a wonderful experience. Lovely staff, excellent Gins (we bought 4 bottles!) we were made to feel special and would certainly recommend a visit.

We came as a party of 30. It was great that they were able to accommodate us but they were running low on umbrellas and glasses so our drinks took forever, they never gave us water we’d requested and half of us were in the sun. It was the only Gin place that allowed 30 of us though so we made do. Thanks for having us

Need more food options. Staff were friendly and I am sure the spirits would have been great, but we couldn't stay due to limited food options on the menu.

Friendly service, great choice of drinks, good gin tasting, nice food. Great at explaining the difference types of gins & pairing.

Incredible experience here! Food, drinks and service was amazing. The manager, Jenifer well and truely looked after us.will definitely be back!

Booked in several months in advance. We’re out into a seperate room as there is a private function happening. It was suggested for us to not go into the bar and “disturb” the function. We were told we could only order on the scan menu and someone will intermittently check on us.

Great gin experience. Needs twice the room though, what a nice problem to have. Timed it well with World Gin day.

We had a great lunch here for our honeymoon trip. Jenny is fantastic. Food is on point. Wine went down well. Easy parking. Next time will try the gin.
