I asked for some flake, the lady who let's just say English is not her native language couldn't understand. I haven't eaten here but it seems like one of those fake fish and chip shops. The o Es that serve you frozen fish and I wasn't willing to take the chance.

Microwaved our burger and spring rolls, burger was cold in the centre. Chips were good though. Mainly seafood menu, not a typcial fish and chips menu.

Feeding a small Army with family feast & seafood platter 11-12 prawns, 10 scallops, 10-12 calamari, 6 fishettes, served with golden chips and Barnacle Bill's own tartare sauce

Just received meal. 40mins late. We ordered by 4.30pm for a 6pm delivery. COLD!
Driver also decided to do some sight seeing along the way.

Love my seafood so I go here once a fortnight. Getting a bit expensive however but who else isn't! At least the seafood is nice and fresh. Always busy so must be doing something right.

Very hard to find somewhere that sells real scallops WITH roe on let alone can cook them to PERFECTION.

Great tasting, freshly cooked and can get busy. Dining in is very basic, only delivery of your meal to the table which all look like they're from the early 80's.

Got what we came for.
Unfortunately i doubt any of the staff were captain of a vessel.

Beautiful seafood - freshly caught SA fish and chips. Very reasonably priced and excellent taste! Appears to have new management - also does a lot of Uber eats

Business has changed in the last few months. Used be be very happy with this shop, until they refused to batter the prawns and fish that used to be no trouble. I thought it was a one off, as they were busy as told to my partner. Last night, I was told the same story, with only one person in the shop (not busy!) again, they do not batter only crumb their seafood. Forced the issue only to get over cooked prawn pack. Hallet Cove B/Bills gives better service, better product that isn’t over cooked.

The first time I stopped in it took 10 or so minutes to have my order done.
The lady that took my order asked if I'd checked in and that I liked. The food was hot. I've ordered from them again.

Girl came out aggressively and stared at us, then dropped the food over the counter before I came over. Not professional.

Service was quick & the store very clean & tidy that's where it ended.
Chips over cooked.
Fish over cooked
Calamari over cooked
Prawns over cooked
Coleslaw bitter, over powered by lemon looked like it had been through a food processor & dressing a convenience product.
Pasta salad dry.
Pine apple ring crumbed & not battered & no cinnamon sugar again over cooked.
Portion size small
Had to request seasoning (salt & pepper)

Won't be going back

The chips here are always golden, they must change oil regularly I've never seen bad chips here grilled fish yum crumbed prawns and squid are perfect, can't go past Barney's for good ol fish n chips

We've been coming here for more than 10 years. Crumbed fish, prawns, calamari always fresh and never greasy. Good crunch to the crumbing. Good chips. Best tartare sauce.

Nice clean place, food was delicious, excellent customer service, will definitely visit here regularly

Never been into Barnacle Bills just always used fish n chip shops but back in January I walked into the Morphett Vale store and was super impressed. We now eat here every second week and haven’t had a bad meal yet. Love the value packs… know what your getting and what price… fish never dripping in oil or super greasy. Chips always well cooked and prawns always fresh never frozen. Always look forward to our BB feast

They make good meals and nowadays can even get it delivered if wanna spend few extra $$.
If after seafood it's the right place to be going

Very good food. Probably the best battered fish I've had and the calamari and prawns were well cooked. Place was clean and had better seats than other sites. Overall, it was quick and tasty.
