Great service the lady who served us today was fantastic and lovely by the time we ordered went answered a short phone call and went back in it was done and super quick and fresh will be back for sure

Fish and chips at Barnacle Bill were naturally flavourful and salty in a good way. Staff were in good spirit and seemed like they tried to show positive attitude, which add on the customer's experience.
I would suggest investing in redesigning the interior to make it look classy and increase sales.

Always good food from here. The restaurant is still stuck in the 80’s, which is not a bad thing, and the service is nice and friendly!

I wouldn't go back. Prawns, calamari and scallops were okay. But both the fish and the chips were terrible. Undercooked, bland and barely warm. And we dined in, it's not like we bought take away and it went cold before we got home. Left half of my chips on the plate because of their taste and left the restaurant unfulfilled and unsatisfied.

Angela is very well mannered and is very helpful when you can't decide what you want and always offers an alternative for you.

A bit rude they didn’t answer their phone on Good Friday to order, they should of put a note on the door saying this

Back in South Australia after ten years. My excitement about Barnacle bills led me to the nearest outlet. I was surprised at the combo deals only and the price. Granted the prawns where fresh and nice but the price for combo (chips) sort of put me off. However, whilst in store, cook time fast and witnessed repeat customers.

First time I dined in this location. Had a lovely lunch with the family for a birthday. The food was great, the place was nice and clean and the place was nice and cool as AC was on. Parking was easy we found easy parking right infront.

Great service and we didn't wait too long either. I am definitely comming back. This is actually my favourite barnicle bills location now.

Very nice crumbed seafood and chips. As long as you're expecting very casual dining, this place is pretty good.

The bag brags the cooking oil is high in monounsaturated fats and low in saturated fats when the latest research shows you want the opposite - food low in unsaturated fats and definitely not a seed oil. The smothering tartar sauce is mostly sugar and the bun is high in sugar. The fish was tasteless. See you again never.

Last visit I didn’t get my tartare sauce. This time I double checked I had it but got home and found I didn’t have my coleslaw. Didn’t want another one (was about to eat) & didn’t want a refund but wanted to phone & give the feedback. Thought it disappointing that I got no apology just “I’ll pass it on to the Manager”. Probably won’t go back to Marden store.

Haven't been to Barnacle Bill's for ages and I won't be in a hurry to go again. Food average and service was dreadful. She was rude hurrying us to order.

Unfortunately not a pleasant experience. I was craving seafood pretty bad, and this place had good reviews so we thought to try it. Seemed popular enough, which is usually a good sign. We each got some pack of whiting (2pc ea), chips and tartare sauce. The chips were quite yummy and hit the spot, although I would have expected a lot more for the price paid. Was like a medium handful. The worst part though.the fish was oozing with grease. Literally, I was just holding it with my fingers to eat it and oil was DRIPPING out of the batter. The hand wipe they give you wasn’t nearly enough to clean all the grease up afterwards. Would’ve been better off going to KFC for less grease, it was super disgusting. The paper they put the fish on was soaked wet and sticking to the fish. The bottom of the box, also soaked through with oil onto my skirt. I didn’t even want to eat my second piece of fish (that’s big, as it was my main craving here), but I felt I had to because the money we spent for it was crazy. Much guilt and regret. It didn’t even fill us up, we had to have a second dinner. I literally ended up crying in the car on the way home.blame it on pregnancy hormones sure, but man I just wanted fish and good fluffy chips. We were super disappointed for the price we paid, but alas. We’ll look to other little fish and chip shops next time.

Food was ok chips the best, although the chicken pieces were greasy and had chewy bits in the chicken which is strange

Got the Barramundi and it was delicious and 2 peices with chips and a 600ml for about $20 was great value

Ordered online through Uber and these Muppets cancelled my order but were happy to still take my money, absolute joke

I went to the Holden Hill store last week and unfortunately the food was very poor the chips was under cooked and some was still a bit raw. And the calamari was like Rubber Bullets. But I'm not the only one to say it as friends went recently as well and said the same thing about the same store so I will not be recommending it until things are changed

Had 2 whitting chips caulslaw, 600m drink. Jelly 1 cost me $ 33.00. Food taste good not much fish for the money.

The best fish and chips around the franchise is great no matter which one you go to its allways been great
