Barnacle Bill

Completing work assignments in South Australia, in Victoria many years ago there was a Barnacle Bill or something similar, so I wanted to experience. The sea food Was so fresh like it was fish when I ordered it. All so Manimush preferred place to eat during work assignments in Adelaide

I had the prawn snack pack with a piece of garfish and some coleslaw. Delicious as usual. The person who served me was lovely, and had a genuine smile and friendly manner. Best place to park is in the shopping centre car park off the side road. I had take away as usual, and took it home. The eat in area is fine, looked clean. Typical for a fast food place. If I was stopping for lunch and not going home I'd be happy to eat in.

Not happy. Made a phone order at 11: 47am. Was told it will be ready in 10 to 15 mins. Got there to pick up at 12: 03. Paid for meal and expected for it to come out soon. 12: 18 asked how much longer. 2 mins they relied. Comes out at 12: 22. That left me 8 mins to eat it since it was during my break. 35 mins to get my meal. Made my meals wrong and the salt and pepper squid was terrible. The new onwers have no idea. If you want to wait forever and get your meal made wrong, then avoid this shop

I have been to this place many times and the staff here is always welcoming and the food has always met my satisfaction.

5 stars instantly because its barnacle bills. Prawn pack will make you happy. So will the calamari. Also the whiting, the garfish even the butterfish. Simple seafood but good. And decent prices.

Got take away $40.00 worth food from tea fish dry chips cold spring rolls still frozen very poor

Seemed to be a popular place for the elderly to get take away. Not much atmosphere. Chips were nice as was the seafood.

People were rude and the fish was not fresh. Also my partner ordered Garfish it was definitely not garfish

Pretty good seafood restaurant, all dishes seems fresh and portions sizes are good, prices are reasonable and have plenty of sides to go with the mains, hard to pick what to have.

Haven't eaten barnacle bill for ages.
Tastes good.

I Should ask for less salt on the chips next time

Asked for extra lemon didn't even get a piece. This place is terrible, frozen fish, no fresh options available at all. Straight from from the ocean hHhahahahhhahhahhha choke. Absolutely hilarious. It taste like it just come from a fish tank.

Super slow lately, place a phone order wait half an hour after tell you 15 mins because i dont want to wait and I still end up waiting 30 in store and it's happened the last 3 time I've been here

If I give 5 stars then everyone will be going there.
Excellent staff, who goes far beyond my expectations and I get to feel special.
Thank you to the Manager who has a very respectful staff.

Horrible that's all I can say i am still in shock what happened no one would believe us told my partner no but he wanted to give it go and he's still in shock so if your desperate and nothing is open well you have no choice lol but never again even if you paid me

Chip were nice squid was over cook the butter fish was so oily that I could not eat to much and the dog even won't eat

Great place to great a meal the price are reasonable and you get a lot of choices on what you want.

I love the chips, seems less oil and fresh compare to others. Price is reasonable for the perfect match of lunch.

An icon but their quality is not what it used to be. Was given a piece of chicken in with my fish that I did not order and honestly think they didn't know or care

Sorry but the butterfish was very average.omg back paper plates and bamboo forks. Sugguest if dunning in take your own cultury
