Baptist Care SA - Mylor Adventure Camp reviews
25Supervised a school camp here. Amazing activities for the students, awesome food, and great facilities. The staff were all super nice and very helpful. Can't fault it.
A great activity centre!
Staff are well organised, knowledgeable, and supportive.
Catering is splendid, with a filling and tasty menu, and an awareness Catering for the special requirements of some.
Springybank dorms are not the cleanest infested with bugs and left untidy.
However, staff are amazing. Friendly and extremely motivational and supportive, pushing children further to achieve goals.
Fantastic site for school and youth camps with excellent facilities, great catering and friendly and engaging camp leaders. Highly recommended:)
Last week, students from Years 3 to 6 participated in the Mylor Adventure Camp. They demonstrated resilience, curiosity, teamwork, thoughtfulness, and responsibility through various activities and interactions with their peers and surroundings.
Activities included archery, raft making, bouldering, giant swing, frisbee golf, low ropes, gaga ball, flying fox, and a scavenger hunt.
Some favourite moments were Evan's nature village building, Caroline's scavenger hunt, George's gaga ball game, and Ebony facing her fears on the giant swing.
"The nature village where we built large structures. I've been building like that at home now. " Evan
"The scavenger hunt, because you had lots of clues and had to work it out and unscramble the words. " Caroline
"Gaga ball because it was a game where you had to use your hands to push the ball and if it touched you, you were out. " George
The giant swing because a lot of people were afraid it was too high, and I was able to face my fears and go on it. " Ebony
My daughter went to camp from school. When she entered her dorm (stringybark room5) the tiles had water and grass all over the place. The food (only dinner) had horrible lasagna which was very blunt. Need some salt and it was overcooked. Overall, she loved the activities and campsite.
Lovely camp to take the kids to. Nice location as well. Look out for the young rabbit named Rocky who occasionally hangs around the water tank near the campground cabins!
My girls (11 and 9) absolutely loved it!
The message itself wasn’t ‘churchie’ or ‘preachie’. It was a discussion about resilience and working as a team.
They were begging to go again. Definitely booking them in for the upcoming holidays.
This is a great campsite! The facilities are great and there is plenty of space. I would recommend this campsite to most people and groups, particularly those who enjoy mud fights.
PS: Bring an old pair of shoes and clothes that can get muddy - you (and your washing machine) will thank me later

Two boys slept in the same bed, two lights were broken and some guy rubbed a pack of twisties on his balls.
A great day organised and run by the team at BCSA Mylor Adventure Camp. From our first enquiry they were so helpful, through to a fantastic day led by Shaz, Cam and Q.
We got exactly what we wanted out of it for our camp and the girls loved it!
Garville Premier League Squad
A wonderful place for our church retreat. Scenery, kitchen facilities, cleanliness, plenty of halls for group work, etc all top class. I was a day visitor so can't comment on sleeping arrangements.
Bus should b able to back down as before. Someone needs to supervise while backing. Too far to walk for little kids.
This place is amazing, perfect for school camps and large groups of people. Such a great place to relax, have fun and enjoy the surroundings!
Took ~350 Y8 Students there, for a 2 day, one night camp.
They were met by Quentin, one of the Student Leaders there, who did such an amazing job with them, before they went to the aquatics or the high ropes course. All the staff were brilliant.
The food was simple but good. Accommodation was great!
Thank you so much for handling such a massive group!
What an amazing playground! Lots of interesting walking trails, an obstacle course. There's a creek running through the valley! Accommodation, grassy oval, lots of shady gum trees, blackwood wattles and Bush Adventures.
Great facilities! Our group of 14 loved the Riverview Cottage. We were looked after wonderfully and even got a workman out late at night when the fire alarms started beeping randomly.
This was the best campsite I've been to in a while. The facility was newly renovated and great quality
We stayed in Riverview cabin. Six women on retreat for three nights fully catered. As always a very comfortable stay. Beautiful views of the creek. Lots of birds. Lovely and quiet. Be prepared to keep a wood fire going over winter.
Such an incredible place to visit! The staff are wonderful, the food delicious and the location is superb.
