Banner Mitre 10 - Mt Gambier

To be honest, every time I've been in here, the staff are stand offish, borderline rude and disinterested. They never know where products are located, and they do not help you find them, they just point from where they are and say "maybe over there". I wouldn't write this review if it was a once off experience. But I can say 3 for 3 visits have ended this way.

Had the plants and fertilizer that we wanted. Helpful staff.

Previous visit had the screws that I needed to finish off a small job.

Mixed feelings about this store from a couple of visits. Not really customer friendly but has a good range of M10 products.

Couldn't even fill our little Gas Cylinder that Banner have always refilled in the past. They have lost the top attachment and not going to replace it. Ni money in it.

Massive range of hardware, building materials and garden products are offered. Staff are very attentive, helpful and friendly.

Hard to find staff. Staff think they are doing you a favour serving you.
Never get keys cut their again. Service is awful.

One thing I noticed tho, which could be a health and safety issue; is the positioning of where the gas bottles are located in the car park area, up close to the outdoor wall of the building.

3 Staff didn't know where garden sheds were kept, after asking a lady in garden centre she said to find someone else to ask as she was new and also didn't know. So we went to Bunnings and and spent our $1000 there. So very disappointed, hardly any staff at Mitre 10 and none of those 3 that we found after walking the shop, garden area and trade was interested in our request. Will never go there again.

Great store to deal with. I've been a customer for over 25 years, always come through and deliveries also excellent.

Closing time says 5.30 but half the joints shut at 5 and staff leaving meanwhile bunnings open till 9.

Went to Bunnings first off to buy a Wardrobe Hanging Rod the young chap while helpful had no idea what I was talking about. So off to Banner Mitre 10 we go walked in asked reply was Yes mate over here and even gave tips when fitting it. The second guy had sound product knowledge and instantly knew what I was after the first lad was merely employed.

Plenty of friendly service & reasonable prices.

Asked for advice. Just goes to show how good Banner are. They didnt try to sell me anything. They said I should get someone to rebuild that part of the fence as trying to gap fill or squeezing cement in there would be wasting my money. Thanks for your honesty Banner.

They where very helpful, and they had the discount tables along with all the regular hardware stock
