Banana Boogie Bakery reviews
18The vanilla slice and other sweet goodies were really delicious. Also grabbed a couple sausage rolls, pies and Cornish. Will definitely be back for my sweet tooth. Yummy
Interesting take on a bakery. Serving sizes were generous, but the food was just ok. We had four different items off their menu and honestly not that special.
Visited on a Sunday so seating was very limited (family of 5 couldn't sit together so went to the local gardens to picnic instead) and no indoor seating available at all.
Can't see us returning.
Beautiful sourdough bread, fabulous vanilla slice, awesome apricot slice and great coffee. Worth coming all the way from WA to enjoy this fabulous bakery with great service
Wow hasn't this place gone ahead! Great bakery food can't imagine what business would be like if the service matched the food.
Excellent bakery, deserving of the multiple awards it’s received. Staff always warm and friendly.
We go for the sourdough, vanilla slice, sausage roll, pies, and filled rolls. Never a bad experience here, although seating is limited it’s more suited to a takeaway place rather than an eat-in cafe experience.
Love the food here just a bit confused that they close at 2pm on a Saturday? Otherwise I would give a 5 star. So much business lost
Sausage roll was average had high expectations, but vanilla slice and vanilla slice doughnut were amazing
Super good. Great selection of award winning pies and pasties. Good value for money. Closed Sundays.
2pm on a weekday and the offerings were very limited, piss were average. The plympton store was much better. Disappointing given the amount of hype around the place
Excellent bakery, great range of breads, rolls, quiches, ready made lunch rolls, cakes, etc. Best vanilla slices!
I stopped here for a quick bite and found the perfect tasty treat, a peanut butter caramel slice. The staff were friendly. I look forward to going back and trying out some hot foods
The best bakery by far, for all foods.
Award winning Vanilla slice and Tuscan Chicken pie.
I’m not one to go for vanilla slices but I decided to get one due to hearing how good they were here. Best vanilla slice I’ve ever had, taste and texture were spot on.
Also got an iced donut which was really good too. The dough was ‘mochi mochi’ which is what any good donut dough should be like (I’m from NYC and this dough is quite similar to the donuts over there). Was pleased that the dough wasn’t ‘bready’ tasting.
The tuna mornay and jalapeño popper pies were also amazing- very natural tasting, good flaky pastry and not oily.
Good work! My favourite bakery in Adelaide so far.
Terrible service. The woman in there was so rude and horrible towards me. No hello or nothing just what do you want.absolutely disgusting would not recommend
So cool, the kids love this award winning bakery for an after school treat. Cosy and easy parking in a beautiful part of the Mitcham hills.
Prize winning vanilla slices and excellent quality pies with Beautiful pastry. Sweets are fresh and tasty without being too sweet.
Really good bread and filled rolls. Eat in cafe is small and functional.
I love this bakery but it's inconsistent stock annoys me. The vanilla slices are magnificent and the sour dough ham rolls are delicious. However, the food stock shouldn't be sold out at 1: 00. I go up there half the time and they don't have anything good left. Kids come out of school around blackwood at 3: 30 and when they get there, there is only garbage tasting pastries and a couple sausage rolls. If the people who owned this wanted more money they should have more stock in and have enough for after school kids because that's where they are going to get a lot more money from
