Bami Hallett Cove reviews
17Had the chicken bread roll - generous serve would prefer the use of actual fresh chillis over paste. The addition of daikon, soy and pate sauce would improve the taste from a Vietnamese perspective. Cold rolls were ample in size and well made. Spring rolls also good size. Thanks team.
Really Nice Food. Fresh and Tasty. Friendly Staff. Ba-mi
And steamed Dimi’s recommended. Will continue with repeat business if they keep it up,
Chicken in my pad Thai was disgusting.it looked like it came out of my dog's bowl.couldn't eat it.will never go back.
Phone order. Salad bowl satay chicken very spicy loved it. Also large kwayteow satay chicken. Both generous serves. Will come back again
Went there today with my mate. I ordered a Pocket Roll with Grilled Chicken and a 650ml bottle of Coke. $11.50! Awesome price for starters! It was ready within 45 seconds of ordering. This thing was loaded with Chicken, Veggies and Sauce. It tasted great too. I would suggest coming here on any occasion for a treat.
Shop looks great and dine in area is ample, staff are lovely, but food needs improvement. Banh mi buns are heated so by the time you eat them they disintegrating into crumbs, pork is chopped too big for a roll and crackling not consistently crunchy enough to make it a pleasant experience…and no pate or pickled daikon? Pho is bland, roast pork bowl also too chunky. Steamed dim sims were dried out and chewy. Hope they sort out some issues - will come back in 6mths
Great food, all their vegan dishes are delicious. Can’t get enough of the lemon tofu in particular, but their bun bowls are also fantastic and my partner loves the kway teow. Will be returning regularly!
Rolls just explode when eating feels like they been pre warmed up. You really really really need to put patte in the Rolls that's what makes it. The meat needs to be cut up more.
Not the worst not the best
Lack of flavour, there are so many other good Vietnamese cafe around. Its not good enough for me. Hope they improve, will give one more chance.
Unfortunately they are not authentic taste…. Laksa wasn’t any creamy (can see the photo), pad Thai is ketchup taste only. Cold rolls are very carrots taste.
When I see measuring how much the meat amount in the cup for rolls, I lost the appetite …… more cost based than taste….
I might have the new shop too much hope may be, I am going back to our favourite Vietnamese shop from now on (no disappointment there.).
Was very sick after eating here, the meat is not in the warmer like it should be its in another container so im not at all surprised.
Please follow regulations because you'll end up putting someone in hospital.
Spring rolls - 5/5
Sweet sour pork - 5/5
Fried rice - very poor 1/5
Pad Thai - pretty good 4/5
Laksa - average 3/5
Pho - 2/5 poor with like three pieces of meat
Overall good. Some dishes are amazing some are pretty average.
Go for stir fried dishes rather than soup
Boring bahmi with carrot and average meat and too much mayo and no pâté, cucumber or other veg. Boring Laksa with little meat strips, chewy. Hope they improve.
Food is fresh and incredibly flavorsome. Staff are very polite, efficient, accommodating and care about their customers. I know this will be my new local for sure!
Haven't eaten in but the roast pork rolls are the bomb! However, if you're going to offer Tofu, it needs to be salt and pepper. Not just boring plain tofu. Needs good flavours.
Bun was way too dry and even almost burnt on the ends. No pate which is quiet a game changer
The food was outstanding and the costumer experience was really up to standard.personally my favourite Bahn Mi place i've tried.
