Bami Gilles Plains

Went there to get a tofu rice bowl. The parking was ample and the shop was super easy to find. The customer service was fast and very friendly. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Very fair pricing and the serves were large portions. The flavours were also spot on. I highly recommend this place

I have been going here for the last 4 months and I haven’t had a single complaint.
My partner and I got food here this afternoon and the pork was so good never been better.

I had a roast pork Banh Mi very disappointed in the portion size. Taste was ok, roll was fresh but if I'm paying 9 bucks it better come packed.

Ordered online using BAMI app all accepted ordered for an hour and a quarter later, Live 5 minutes from restaurant. 2 hours later rang to find out about order - total confusion and driver who didn’t arrive.
In the end offered fee meal if we picked up BUT as we advised had been drinking so can’t pick up the whole idea of taking the time to get their app take the time to crate an account and prepared the pay an exorbitant $12 delivery fee - all to have the meal not turn up at all. Felt sorry for staff because they were totally let down by management and their system.
First and last time I will use this restaurant unless they can convince me this was a once in lifetime event

This is a great place, I love their food. My only issue is that one of the young lady's was using a nail clipper and clipping her nails behind the register while I was waiting for my food. It just threw me off a bit. But the food itself is incredible and I've never been unsatisfied with the food.

Their rolls have the right amount of crunch and the ingredients are all fresh and tasty. The service is so friendly and deserves 5 stars all on it's own. I'm definitely going to make this a regular place to go to and can't wait to try the rest of their menu.

I’ve only ever had the roast pork with crackling Bun noodle bowl here and I can unreservedly say it’s the best I’ve ever had. The pork is just perfect and they’ve nailed the cracking, everything else is perfect. I’m going to branch out and try something else from the menu and hope it’s as good. You won’t be disappointed I’ve tried bun bowls all over Adelaide and can’t find better than this. Enjoy

I tried a crispy pork roll today. Be honest to review that it is not typical vietnamese food. The bread was reheat to make crispy, in the end overheat. The vietnamese ice coffee was not full flavor of coffee.

Not your authentic bahn mi, chicken had no flavour just tasted like a store brought chicken that had been cut up, no diakon, carrot cut way to big, cucumber too small, no patè, too much mayo, barley any chilli and chilli had no kick to it, music way too loud. Positives great customer service, clean tables, also bench space to eat. Veggie and vegan options

Was supposed to get 10% discount on the first time order, didn't get it. Asked to comeback when the manager is there to fix their error upon mentioning.

This place is the best. Keep coming back. Delicious every time and fantastic customer service. Highly recommend

I dropped by after some late shopping at woolworths. Staff were friendly & it looking clean & fresh inside. I ordered a pork belly bahn mi. It was delicious & plenty for me. When I'm close to gilles Plains it's my go too. Since ordering the Bahn mi. I have returned several times. Beef stir fry with oyster & garlic sauce, tom yum seafood noodle bowl. Were all yum. Extra stars for freshness and service (which was the best part). Otherwise, based on flavour and quality, would probably get a 2.5

Service was stellar, the staff were all friendly and had warm greetings. The order was made quickly, the price point was average.

The banh mi were quite light and not as full as other shops around, and the flavour was fresh and not over powering. The meat was disappointing - the chicken was cooked well, but not overly flavourful; the roast pork was a little burnt (but flavour was okay) but there was absolutely NO crackle in the rolls - only meat and a little fat. The veggies were fresh, but scant. On the whole, there was lots of bread.

The atmosphere was nice, all the ingredients looked fresh and the restaurant was clean. I wouldn't go back because I have a preferred shop already who were closed, but it was a good try. Still a new shop so maybe some early teething problems to work out, but has great potential.

Delicious and great portion and value too. I had the stir fry dishes.haven’t tried other dishes yet.

I am a vegetarian and this is a great place for me indeed. Every vegetarian dish is very awsome.
Recommend salt & pepper tofu and tofu coldrolls are must-try in this hot summer and they are my absolute favorites. Thank you for serving me after my long day of work

This place is top tier! Phone or app orders are so easy and their food is so fresh and delicious! Reasonable pricing and good variety.

Please check your portion sizes. There are heaps of viet eateries around with double the portion sizes. Taste wasnt that great either.
