Bakmi Lim Noodle Project reviews
15 I have seen people talking about the portion of the meat. I personally think it's reasonable for the price. For me it can fill me up but if you would like to add more meat you can ask for it for an additional cost.
Yummy handmade noodle and great service:)
Smallest portion of Chicken I’ve ever seen in my life. An absolute joke. Not like the pictures. I’ve noticed this more recently. Also the plate was just loaded with rice to save money. Very disappointed. Otherwise tasted good. But stingy cost savings Clearly. Also lots of other comments say this too. Avoid!
The fact that noodles are made in house lured me to this shop.
I had take away ramen noodle soup with grilled chicken to find back at accommodation that soup was not included in the package.
However, the ramen was decent and the grilled chicken succulent.
On my way back in town I returned for Hainase Chicken and rice which was disappointing.
Although the house made chilli sauce was fiery hot as expected, the rice lacked in depth - there wasn't enough garlic and ginger in the seasoning. The chicken although moist tasted very plain. But nice filling lunch before leaving town.
I ordered roast pork. She called out roast pork when my food was ready and I was given braised pork. I have read other reviews and it seems to be a common practice. If you want regular customers, don’t try to fool them. Just tell people you have run out of roast pork.
There is genuinely no point of them even having the sriracha mayo fries on the menu.i have been there about 5 times and they never even have chips in stock.the last time i went they told me to come in the next week because they would have some and they didn’t and literally laughed when they knew what i was going to ask for.they are even situated next to a coles surely it wouldn’t be that hard to buy a bag of frozen chips to make the fries.
My wife and I had the traditional handmade noodle soup. Had braised pork with bbq pork and chilli as the toppings. I really liked it. We also had the roast pork bao. The Bao was cold and would have preferred them warm, we have had better else where. We were given spoons that were pretty much useless and had to drink soup from the bowl itself. We thought we were given wrong spoons so my wife asked for soup spoons but was told that’s all they had. The food came out reasonably quick during lunchtime and the staff were friendly whilst taking our order. I would definitely come back for the noodle soup.
Rice bowls here are superb! Super delicious particularly the braised pork belly, chaisu pork, and grilled chicken and basically everything.the bao’s are so so nice! Service is fast and nice.my favourite place for affordable yet high quality lunches
Delicious! Must try the handmade spinach noodles! Beautiful flavours and didn't leave me feeling bloated.
Pleasantly surprised with how delicious this little hole-in-the-wall shop is. Vegetarian option was yummy and great value for money. A new fave and will definitely be back!
Hand made noodles from a family recipe, how can you go wrong. The noodles and 'sauce' that come with the protein you pick are so delicious. $12 for chicken $14 for pork belly.
I had the BBQ chasiu pork with handmade traditional noodles and it was delicious! Good portion and great value for money! Will definitely back
Tried the braised pork belly with handmade spinach-infused noodles - heartwarmingly delicious, good quantity of things in the soup for price. The handmade noodles are a definite specialty of Bakmi Lim, and I enjoyed their new side dish item: the sriracha mayo fries. What more can I say, other than, Bak Mi!
Pretty good place and customer service is very good. We tried there new addition of the menu " sricha mayo fries" it was excelent meal for the price but negative point is the put bit more salt on it and the sauces are less for the size of the meal.
I had soy chicken mushroom with handmade spinach-infused noodles. Absolutely delicious - the chicken was infused with flavour from the delicious broth and I liked the balance of spice and vegetables. The friendly service was also very much appreciated. Thank you for a scrumptuous dinner and lovely experience!
