Bakers Delight Mawson Lakes

Very disappointing experience in the store today! We have been going to this baker's delight store for many, many years! Since it first opened at Mawson Lakes. It's always been a great experience, the staff is friendly and the products are always tasty and fresh. Yesterday, we attended your store in the hopes of getting a pasta dura for Christmas Day! The young lady that served us was very professional and apologetic as they had run out. I asked if we could come back tomorrow and asked what time they open. 7 am, however, they need to cool down before they are sliced, so come a few hours later. So, we came back to the store today and there were two left. Excellent, we will take it! It was explained to us by the lady that the pasta dura was cooling down as this was their second batch and they could not slice it straight away. We asked how long it would take to cool down so that we could get it sliced, they said 20 minutes. Perfect! We were more than happy to wait 20 minutes for it to cool down and be sliced. We were told that they could not hold one pasta dura for us or put it aside as they had previously done this and the person never came back to collect it. We were more than happy to wait at the side of the counter until it cooled down. We were flat-out told no! They wouldn't do it! I mentioned that we were told the previous day to come later and We were told that we were given the wrong info and that we shouldn't have been told that. Human error, not a problem, everyone makes mistakes. What I was most disappointed in was the fact that we have been long-time customers, we were willing to wait for the loaf to cool down, and we were still told no! We were told, you can wait, but if we sell it in the meantime, then it's sold. So very disappointing! I understand it's busy, however, this is a great way to lose customers! Where is the Christmas Spirit?

I buy my bread here regularly and it's always delicious. The young staff are all friendly and quick too.

Just bought a Danish but when I go to eat it it smells like dirty water so maybe the cloth they wiped the bench with or the tongs they used. I tryed to ring to tell them but no one answers so I give a rating of 1 for cleanliness and for not answering the phone

Well, I've got few things from this bakery and it was my first time, Lady at counter was really very nice and helpful.

Was served by a Charlotte and she was friendly and helped me get my high fibre loaf, well done!

Just bought a loaf of bread which I asked to be sliced. The lady serving me coughed on the loaf as she was slicing it, then reminded me to check in using the COVID Safe QR code.

Why is it they are making there customers zap the Covid code with there phone, s when really not even entering there store bloody ridiculous,

Staff here are so nice.

The selection isn't big but I give it 5 stars because everytime I get a nice greeting and a smile, even when they are incredibly busy.

This tiny, TINY Bakers Delight has a VERY LIMITED Variety to choose from! They have the basic sandwich loaf, a small variety of Lunch and dinner Rolls and Little Else! Do NOT Waste Your Time with THIS Bakers Delight!

Family members are not good service staff. That's why I down rated from 3 to 2 stars. Just another bakers delight really.

Its darn hard to get served here. Why? Coz its popular. Good selection and some friendlies to help you out too. Locale right next to big boi woolies helps I bet. Still.it's a bakers delight.you know exactly what's inside.get on it.

Great service always with a smile. They sometimes seem to have flys flying around in the glass cases.

Friendly people. Clean store. Always willing to help you find what you want or something similar.

Bakers Delight is my favourite bakery, love the quality and texture of most of their range. The quality appears consistent in most sites and service generally quite good. Would also recommend this brand and branch. Cheers.
