Delish. Small little local diner. Very well priced & good serves. Faves were Spring rolls & lamb shanks!

The cuisine is exceptionally well prepared. Mid spice was a little mild for me but, next time I'll go to more spice. But, that's just me. The lamb korma was delicious especially with the salad and yellow rice. Wine prices are a little steep but, they are premium wines and we'll chilled. Service was punctual even with the 18 people group I was in company. The Christian singles group will probably visit agsin. Regards Gerard

The WORST food I have ever eaten (I couldn’t eat it) the butter chicken tasted like butter and milk mixed together then put in the microwave with 4 pieces of rubbery chicken. Not sure if the chef was MIA but the food I ordered tonight does not reflect the reviews on this page. The service was friendly but that’s about it. Very disappointed.

The staff have always been friendly and welcoming. The Sri Lankan food is the best we have tasted outside Sri Lanka, Our favourites have been have been SL fish hot curry, SL. Salad, Garlic Naan, and SL Spicy Rolls. First class food and fantastic Staff.

Love the Chicken Kotthu, and B&U does it just like back home in Sri Lanka, or even better, spices and the works.

This restaurant was clean but the environment was not quite like the pictures showed. The ventilation of the area was not adequate. The bathroom was not accessible, you have to walk out and around the block. The lighting of the restaurant was inadequate as some of the lights were either not switched on or not functional.

The food in general was okay, but small portions. The fish curry only had two small pieces of fish.

The service was okay. They seemed to want to rush through our order before the place got busy.

I do not think it would be worth visiting again.

The previous one to two stars review are the most truthful.

Amazing amazing amazing! Incredible delicious food, welcoming staff, intimate cosy setting. Favourite place to dine out at in Adelaide. I am obsessed and will be back, often. Cannot speak more highly of this wonderful restaurant. Thank you for the best experience!

Well I (Hate) Indian food.but this is excellent Sri Lankan food and worth the effort. Slow but worth the wait

We ordered spicy lamb curry, Sri Lankan seafood curry, yellow rice and cheese naan with chilly flakes. Lamb curry tastes great and there are also mild and moderate to choose from. Seafood curry has a taste of coconut milk. And I love naans. Good experience.

We visited for the first time tonight despite living only 2 minutes away! It was so good! Owners understand what vegan means and offer quite a few options. We chose the lentil dish and the potato/carrot curry. Both were full of flavour and serving size was huge! Samosas were delicious too.
Unfortunately the roti isn't vegan.
Owner was very friendly and chatty. We will definitely come again.

This place had potential, but I think the owners given up. We booked in for 7: 30 on a Friday but we shouldn't have bothered. The food came out pretty quick. The food was ok, but bland for a curry. It almost seemed it was just made and the meat and fish had no time to soak in any of the flavours. We asked for hot and it was mild. This is common standard in Adelaide. Seems like we are scared of heat? The biggest issue was that the owner clearly wanted to go home and we were rushed out before we had finished. This would have been a good takeaway store but not recommended for dining in, also the serving sizes for the curries were on the small side, though I have seen worse.

Please be respectful to your customer. Yesterday we went to your place to enjoy birthday dinner. You were taking our plates away even before we were finishing our food. And repeated it many times even we were telling you that we have not finished yet. Leave customer alone when they were eating unless asked for help. If you were hurry to go home then you should not have taken our dine in booking. Moreover, it was a hot day. You have turned off air conditioning even before we start to eat. Apparently to save electricity. You were not giving us free food. We paid and we deserve good environment.

The food was yummy, the Naan bread was amazing and the owners are so lovely and friendly! It's an authentic mum and dad restaurant and we will definitely be back.

I have been going here for over 12 years now! Absolutely love their food! I cant believe it took me this long to right a review. My favourite dish is their butter chicken (its like no other) my wife loves the hot chicken curry. All the food is incredible here. The owners are also very lovely people. Highly recommend this little family restaurant. 10/10
