I have been a patient at Aware Women's Health for almost 3 years now and have had only positive experiences.
Both Dr Floriani and Dr Toogood are fantastic, knowledgeable, relatable and professional, and have both helped me so much.
Also, the Office Manager Emma is second to none in her customer service and diligence. Highly recommend!

I've been seeing Dr Floriani for years now and couldn't recommend her enough. Lovely practice with beautiful staff too!

My first appointment at Aware was one of the best Dr appointments I’ve ever had. It was with Dr Sibson. I felt heard and not rushed. Plus I was able to get everything I needed to get done in one appointment without a referral or consultation first and still get the Medicare rebate. I’d highly recommend.

Visiting this practice was one of the most negative experiences with a health care professional I have had in my life. I was in my appointment for less than ten minutes and felt like I was boring Dr Wellman when I began to discuss my symptoms (which were very clearly symptoms of endometriosis). I was told ' it doesn't sound like you have endometriosis' and then the magical solution for me was to go on the pill, which I told the doctor I was reluctant to do without a clear reason as to why, as I saw this as a band-aid solution rather than me being assisted to find out the root of my issues. I went into my appointment with information on a tracking app about my symptoms, a list of things I'd been experiencing as well as test results which she didn't really bother to look at.
The cold, bored and uninterested vibe (for lack of a better word) I got from the doctor was so uncomfortable to experience. I was made to feel like a waste of her time.
I left the appointment in tears after paying around $200 for the experience.
I went to a different Gyne and had the polar opposite experience and have been diagnosed with endometriosis.
People see gynecologists when things are dire and challenging, it's not something you do for fun or lightly. In my case, my symptoms had been going on for 15+ years and I had been dismissed or not had support through a GP / hospitals. I wanted to invest the $ in my health for answers. Instead I was dismissed and provided with a generic 'solution' that I could have been given by a GP (going on birth control).
I wasn't going to leave a review as I don't like to be negative, but to anyone reading this- save your money, skip seeing Dr Wellman and visit another gynecologist that will listen, get to the root of your problems and not just dump you on the pill without exploration of alternative options and answers to the symptoms you are experiencing.

Left me waiting on an empty zoom meeting for over an hour after my allotted appointment time, then after I called their reception desk to find out what was happening, they asked me to cancel my appointment and reschedule for another day.

Last time I attended here I had an IUD fitted by one of the doctors, who told me they would perform a Cervical Smear during the appointment. I called up after a few weeks had passed and I hadn't received my results. Apparently the doctor had forgotten to do the test, and didn't notify me.

I see Tiffany for psych, Dr Cassidy for pain management & Dr Sibson for GP stuff. Every time I go in everyone is absolutely lovely and makes everything really easy!:)

Dr Floreani is amazing. I always feel listened to and am always given appropriate responses and treatments for my concerns.

Ironically not that aware of the need to respond to other medical professionals for patient care. My medical rehabilitation specialist made numerous attempts to seek input from my gynaecologist - the lack of response was either arrogance or indifference. I won’t be returning to this practice, and suggest other women stay well clear.
