Horrible attention, there was just 3 more customers and I wait 35 minutes for two coffees. Toilette smells disgusting

My friend and I ended up here at 3pm on a Friday as very little is opened in Adelaide between 2-5pm. The staff were INCREDIBLY friendly, helpful and personable. All we are was calamari and hot chips, but they were fresh and really nicely prepared. Average wine list. Parking was amazing. I think the 3 stars is simply for the atmosphere. It was CLEAN, just has an old school, 'nana/pokies' feel. For this reason, not my first choice for lunch or dinner, but for a later afternoon snack, it's a decent spot. The staff really made up for the feel of the place, too

Horrible place to go too.would not recommend. Staff were rude and lazy. Seemed like no one wanted to be there.even the manager was being a sour puss.

Went for lunch for a family members birthday. Great food and great customer service. I would definitely recommend this place for any occasion

I love my weekly visit to the Avenues Bar &Café. I get there before lunch so I start with a must, a steaming hot mug of coffee. The beans they use have a nice roast, not at all bitter and very smooth. The staff are very friendly and not at all formal and stiff.
The menu is well thought out with of variety. It's not excessive with too many choices, thankfully!

We were at the tavern last night celebrating my wife's birthday.
We enjoyed great customer service from the two staff members on duty the steaks were one of the best we ever had.
Many thanks to Bruce's meats for the meat raffle their leg ham and other meats are legendary.

It's ok. Has a lot of people fooled. Some over described fancy foods on the menu. But hectic at times, can be a bit loud and uncomfortable.but it's pretty popular. For some crowds who like fancy tags on their food and coffee.
Basic food done fairly well moderate pricing. Some staff great. Some arrogant. Depends who you get.
Overall it's ok

Beer was not refreshing. The Pirate Life and Coopers Pacific Pale Ale had a sour taste. The 3 of us agreed that they did not taste like they normally do.

Friendly and attentive staff, great food at a good price, clean and comfortable. I'll definitely be back!

We went in on Friday mid morning. Ordered the special, coffee and cake. Chose the cake from the display fridge.
Sat down outside for approx 10 mins. Then the waitress comes over and apologises that the cakes are all past their sell by date! What? She offered us a refund and free coffee. We declined and took the refund. The young girl who served us asked the more "experienced " lady how to refund a credit card. She dismissively said, just give them cash out of the till. And didn't acknowledge us or apologise.
Terrible service. Will NOT be back.

My family and I have eaten here many times since moving into the area 5 years ago.
Every meal has been excellent and the staff are professional, polite and very helpful.
The prices are very competitive.

Me and my friends first time in this cafe. We were looking to have a lunch before going to the next shop to check wedding dress. Our first option was the Shushi Train but there was a line up. We ended up going to this Cafe. Glad we had our lunch there. I love the outdoor seating with garden type ambience. I ordered Haloumi Salad and my 2 friends ordered Salt and Pepper Squid both had big servings we thought we could not finish but they were so delicious ended up empty plates. I also enjoyed the big mug coffee, it was taste beautiful. We are very lucky, we have so many local stand alone restaurants that serving good food and drinks.

The food was absolutely delicious. Customer service from the staff was very good. They had the difficulties of the covid19 restrictions to deal with on top of their service requirements. They did well on all fronts and we had a lovely meal. Thanks guys.

Great. Nice and quiet, excellent for a family catchup. Simple menu and inexpensive. Will be back again.

Absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed the Avenues each and every time I go there, beautiful staff, no riffraff, Lovely environment and the other patrons are always friendly and helpful. A1+ well deserved to be Adelaide's number one place to relax with family friends or even alone! Love you Avenues!

Staff friendly. Cooper's Session Ale at special price, and lunchtime half price garfish was good.
