Australian Education Union (SA Branch) reviews
6Hundreds of lecturers in our organisation won their permanency because of the AEU SA. And future lecturers are benefitting from this action as well.
Absolutely corrupt and compromised government puppets not there for members.
They support discrimination and the abuse of basic human rights.
They do not support valid whs concerns which are outside their compromised agenda.
Do not trust and do not waste your money. Join red union instead.
Great team of people. Not sure about value for money when compared internationally.
A first rate organisation for educators. Teachers, SSOs and students.
Knowledgeable advice, support when needed, looking after your best interests.
Don’t expect a response or help. This seems to be built for teachers and SSO are forgotten and treated like rubbish by the AEUSA
Best thing I ever did.
My position is so easily tempting to be taken advantage of and unfortunately often has been in my 5 years of working in education across numerous sites and the AEU have always been able to respond promptly to my queries with all I need to prove my rights as an employee.
'Daniel' was very helpful, professional and made me feel very relaxed during difficult times.
In the short 5 years I have worked in education I have contacted them on an average of once a term! Thats quite huge to think how many situations employees can be put in wondering if the circumstances are acceptable or not.
If it weren't for the AEU I wouldn't be clear of my rights and wouldn't feel as confident and capable of asking for my rights.
