Augusta Caravan Park reviews
18 We stayed here on our way through to Perth and liked it so much that we stayed on the way home.
Quiet outside of Port Augusta. Amenities a little tired, which didn't bother me, lovely hot shower and good laundry facilities.
Great spot and good rate.
We arrived after the opening hours and we’re still able to get a site, that was very kind and the women (I guess owner?) was really friendly! Can recommend this caravan park! It’s not very big but it looks like every site is very large & they’re dog friendly. The water pressure in the shower was amazing - we loved it there and stayed 2 nights
Great smaller, older type caravan park, well priced, safe area, clean but older amenities, great camp kitchen and the caretakers Benita and George are just wonderful people. Made us feel extremely welcome and gave us some great day trip recommendations. Would definitely stay here again and the gardens are looking fantastic.
Stayed o/nite on a van site. Very good facilities and great staff to deal with.recommended.
Super place, with and without electricity possible. Very nice operators, toilets, showers older but clean and work perfectly. Washing and drying clothes is also easily possible. Top!
Great, clean, roomy Caravan Park, Spacious level sites with power and water hook up. Good price.
Very friendly and accomodating owners. Sites are spacious and amenities are very clean. I really enjoyed my short stay and would recommend this park.
Good caravan park to stay for a night. 10' from Port Augusta. Half an hour from Mount Remarkable national park
Reasonable rates for this park. The new owners have done a lot of upgrades in the past 3 years and have more planned. Good showers. Overall a very tidy caravan park.
We are in our camper the lace is quite and really lovely staff. The amenities are older but spotless would recommend
Great Park clean amenities and ground
Close to shopping hotel with meals just around the corner
Staff friendly and helpful will be back
Stayed overnight recently, lovely park with great size sites, clean amenities, friendly staff, beautiful gardens.
While there had an issue with our van electrics, owner was awesome, called his electrician who was there quickly to sort out our problem and get us on our way.
Would definitely recommend this park, and will stay again.
Friendly staff nice big Park nice to be out of town Tran comes out the back but that's All good
Our second stay here, we would come back anytime. New owner doing a great job. Now back for the third time, park even better than before, thanks Mick & the team Paul and Kath
Large sites. Clean Amenities. No grass but gravel sites. Trains but didn't hear any after about 9.30 ish pm. School is behind and they had a sports day one of the days we stayed but it was lovely to hear the cheering and the laughter. Would definitely stay again.
We are two solo travellers travelling together in two small campervans. We have been on the road for two years and have shared the same unpowered camping site, just as a caravan and car would do with two people, with no hesitation from previous park managements. On arrival at Augusta Caravan Park we were informed that the site was per vehicle and explained we took up no more room than car/caravan rig, no power required and two people. Grossly unfair to solo travellers. As it turned out we went elsewhere, was given a discounted rate on a single shared site.
Stayed a night paid 25$ for 2 people a night + 10$ per extra person per night unpowered. Careful there is an extra charge if you pay with card. No booking, we called to check availability. We had enough space for a 6m tent and a trailer with roof top tent. Toilets clean, 4 showers (women) clean and hot. Laundry room, open kitchen camp and sofa. Perfect location. Only 10 mins away from Port Augusta centre.
It would have been a nice quiet night at this park apart from the horrendous VERY loud heavy metal “music” from some gig coming from ground next to the park! Should not have been allowed, went on until near midnight. Showers great, hot and powerful, cubicles dated and small. WiFi did not work, even after getting the password twice from the owner. Did not use the kitchen.
