Atze's Corner Wines reviews
46My wife and I had a great time at Atze's Corner. The high-set view over the vineyard, paired with delicious wine and Isabelle's attentive service, was a lovely way to end a big day of wine tasting. It all went a bit crazy when Barbara, one of the owners, came up with Henri, the resident Burmese Mountain Dog, to meet us. I think we bought a lot of wine after that.and the plush toy modelled on Henri.and more wine.
Thank you for treating my hubster with so much kindness, despite his travel stained appearance. We love people who treat others with respect, whether they are the king or the garbage man. Lol You certainly deserve the 5 stars we gave and PS so does your wine.
This was the best winery experience we have enjoyed and there have been many to compare to. Andy and other staff were so hospitable and informative about the history of Atze's and the Barossa region. Really great seeing the tradition and family heritage carried on from generation to generation. We enjoyed a platter whilst doing the full wine tastings in a relaxed & beautiful setting overlooking the vineyard from the upper level which was a unique experience too. We surprised ourselves and purchased varieties we had never really considered before. Definitely recommend doing the full tasting and making sure you try their premium wines. Convinced us to cellar some for the future. Highly recommend Atze's and will be heading back with other friends and family to experience it soon.
This was a great experience, fantastic cellar door, great wines, Isabelle was wonderful.
Definitely will be returning and having a platter on the deck, and getting wine shipped to Melbourne regularly.
Great tasting experience Sunday afternoon. We a group of 5 males were taken through some lovely wines by Isabelle.
Very nice location with warming welcome and a great tasting plan. We had platters afterwards which were also fantastic.
Lovely afternoon pleasant surrounding great service, platter and nice Wines Good Work

As a family celebrating a significant birthday we went to Atze’s Corner where we shared food platters before tasting their wines. We all enjoyed the platters, the view and the wine tasting capped off a most enjoyable, relaxing visit. All the people helping us were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We recommend this winery to anyone who enjoys relaxing with a glass of wine!
(PS. The 2018 Cab Sav is like drinking velvet!)
Had a lovely visit to Atzes yesterday. Wines were amazing and decor and ambiance were top notch. Not sure what @RhoniMcFarlane is on about in her review, just can’t please some people I guess! Lovely family serving us and taking the time to have a chat and make you feel welcome. Would highly recommend.
We were deeply impressed by the quality of the wines at Atze's and with the knowledge displayed at the cellar door. Atze's have become one of our favourites in the Barossa.
Delightful. Such an ultimate and intimate experience with winemaker, Andy Kalleske. The wines were elegant, pronounced and extremely well made. Superbly smooth. Experience it for yourself.
Having been a visitor to the Barossa Valley for over 40 years, what a great surprise on 1st visit to Atze’s Corner, Brilliant Cellar Door facility and Friendly Knowledgable Host, then some very good wines. Will be back on next trip to Barossa, recommended visit
Should have known this wasn’t going to hit the mark the moment we drove in the driveway with the number of signs. It was like being nagged from the outset. The decor is a a tragic display of not having a clear vision for what to do, but is fake plastic plants are your thing then it might be up your alley.
No tastings on the balcony - only inside which is a shame. Either way the service was hugely disappointing and even asking for the code to blinds to be raised in the balcony in a stunning warm and sunny day was an inconvenience.
The wine is the only saving grace - buy online and save a disappointing experience.
Atze’s Corner is one of the best wineries of the Barossa Valley. Exceptional wine, friendly service in the most picturesque setting. The gourmet cheese platter was delicious and paired perfectly with the wine. Thank you, we look forward to visiting again soon.
Highy quality wines at a great price and friendly staff, cellar door has beautiful views from a impressive building.
Check this place out if you get a chance. The family and winemaking team actually work in the cellar door so you get the full experience with the great wines they grow and produce on their property.
Every wine a winner, especially enjoyed the cabernet - and the montepulciano is going to go great with tonight's venison ragu!
First time vist last Sundy, love the vibe, thank you Andy for the gift, and love 2019 Eddie old, we actually had 3 bottles for dinner. Will definitely come back for more, and 2018 as well.
Such a beautiful winery and what a beautiful view. We visited on a Saturday and decided to try this place based on the great reviews we read. We were absolutely enchanted of our visit. Everything was so charming, from the decoration indoor and outdoor, to the style, to the atmosphere and the staff. Wines were incredible and the platter to go with was absolutely divine. So happy we discovered this little gem, loved everything about it especially our lovely hostess who won us over during the wine tasting. We will make sure to come back soon for more.
Lovely winery, with very good wines.
Also a nice food platter and a lovely cellar hand to talk too.
