Attuned Psychology - Psychology Adelaide

First session I got out with someone who offered no suggestions other than, you’d be better off seeing someone else, total waste of money. Then when I do see the other person I have two appointments rescheduled to end up with 1 appointment in 3 months, for the second to be changed the day before to something I couldn’t make, for them to tell me I’d have to book another month away. Disgraceful

A friend recommended I see Alex Frost, the owner, a while back.
I was on the waitlist for several months but was able to book in 3 appointments for the future. When the time finally came for my appointment, Alex cancelled due to being sick. She then cancelled the other two appointments for the same reason.
I didn't bother rebooking.

My friend recently asked how my appointments went. I told her what happened and she wasn't surprised as she'd also experienced high cancellations of her appointments.
But in the end, she stopped going because she overhead Alex gossiping to staff about someone. Not sure if it was staff or another patient, but either way, highly unprofessional.

I was in search of some answers to issues I dealt with over my lifetime.
I called Attuned Psychology twice to confirm the right therapist and each time I was told that
Melissa Howie would be the best person to work with for both trauma and substance issues.
I was looking for what I felt was the 'key to the lock' and the results exceeded my expectations.
8 months later and I can say, working on my issues using Schema Therapy has been life changing. I have ceased all use of
substances, have a greater understanding of my triggers, Ive grown enormously in my self development and on my way to a new career.
I plan on continuing treatment and look forward to the prospects of where my self-development could take me.
I really recommend Attuned Psychology. The staff made me feel at home and treated me very respectfully.

Over the last couple of years I’ve been working with Dr Lucinda Clifford. I’ve really enjoyed our sessions and find her easy to open up too - has been a great help for me when I need it.

I have been attending Attuned for approximately 6 months, and I can't believe how much progress I have seen in this short time. I couldn't recommend them enough. I enjoy going in to the clinic - all staff are welcoming, friendly & professional.

My husband got nothing from his two visits to Attuned Psychology. The second visit I was invited into the room because the Psychologist said she had run out of things to talk about. He was depressed and had a lot of issues to work through.

Based on the way that I felt and have been feeling for a number of months, and the reason why I went to see a psychologist I was advised I can only return if I can guarantee the psychologist will not been called into court, and her notes will not be summoned. If this is the case, she will refer me to someone else.

Under the circumstances, I'm not able to share the full story, I am extremely disappointed with Attuned Psychology and the Psychologist.

When I called prior to Christmas to make the appointment, I told the receptionist the reason I am making the appointment, so I should have been told over the phone NOT when I get there that the Psychologist will not be able to help me with my issue.

Then people wonder why the mental health is in a bad way.

Certainly was NOT worth the $340.00 I paid, received the medicare rebate a day later in my account.

I will NOT be back.

I have been coming to Attuned Psychology on and off for a couple of years now, the psychologists are very professional and the practice is very warm and welcoming.

Best psychologists in Adelaide (and we have tried a few). We have used Attuned for neuropsychology assessments for my elderly mother with suspected dementia and my grandchildren have also accessed the child psychologists from time to time as needed. Really happy with the services offered here and would recommend to others.

I'm grateful to the people at Attuned Psychology. I called them, I was directed to a psychologist who had the experience I needed. I've never done counselling before but she really helped me sort things out and I'm much more at peace than ever before. I am not embarrassed about seeing a psychologist and have no worries about other people seeing this, even in my small town of Adelaide where everybody knows everybody. Thank you.

Ms. Rossi charges $230 for one hour with a child when she doesn't even have a PhD: what makes her think she deserves that much when she doesn't even follow legally-binding doctor requests for specific assessments to be covered under a healthcare plan?

I rang them and asked for appointment, they said they had a cancellation at the end of the week and asked what I needed done. I asked if they did a neuropsychology assessment- they said they would have to ask the neuropsychologist. They didn't get back to me. I rang again later that day and they still didn't know. Then I rang the next day and they said no they don't. Poor customer service.
