Asian Grocery reviews
64Big store with a great produce and meat area. Lots of Chinese and SEA options. Japanese and Korean is a bit lacking but there are still options.
Staff there talk rude about you in their language even right in front of you. Some checkout staff need better customer service as they give you rude attitude. Check expiry dates for every single product you out into your basket. They are dodgy with the expiry dates wouldn’t be surprised when you get home and you find a product that’s expired a few days ago.
I love this place. There are a great selection of Asian sauces, marinades, soup bases etc, not to mention the fresh fruit and veg, and a fully stocked meat counter. Always go back.
Fantastic shop, has everything you could possibly want plus more. Great range & prices. The staff are very efficient.
This place has grown over the 30 years since I first went there. As well as bottled, tinned and packaged groceries which you might need for South east Asian and east Asian cooking, there is a butchery section which provides cuts of meet for these styles of cooking. Also a fruit and veg section, where Asian herbs, and veg are available. Finally there is a section with woks, and other cooking utensils for Asian cooking.
I've been going to this Asian grocer for years. They have a great range with a butcher and fresh vege area. Totally recommend.
Needed some bits and pieces in a hurry.they had all that I needed and more. Lots more to look at if I had the time. Parking was enough. Prices reasonable
This might be the worst Asian grocery store to me in Adelaide. The staff here are very RUDE. Never answer you by looking at you and also always a “if you don’t want to buy it, why you ask” or “ I don’t care if you want to buy it or not, xxx is at that section, you can find yourself “ attitude to me. Well, I understand they are busy, but please use a nicer attitude. Secondly, this place is TOO smelly! Especially around the butcher area. Would rather drive 10mins further to Chinatown for my shopping, will definitely not visit this place again!
Best shopping spot for Asian grocery plus ample parking space, best part is the fresh meat.its best in all aspects worth shopping there.
Great local Asian supermarket with a excellent butcher and all those great Asian spices and condiments. Highly recommended
Relatively buzy place over the weekend but stocked with a lot of asian stuff! Fish and the vegetables are the highlights.
Wide range of grocery and mostly from Asian countries. The cleanliness and tidiness of the shop need to be improved.
Fantastic quality meat here, everytime.
Always lean and tender.
All Asian ingredients, all cuisines, are covered. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Love this place, I just wish it was a bit bigger. Great selection of very fresh meat and fish, the staff are always happy and there is ALWAYS a line up for the deli. I don't buy my pieces of meat from supermarkets now (unless it's something they don't stock).
Some of the staff could be less rude and condescending to their customers.
Got ripped off at the checkout, when I bought something from the """beauty""" shelf behind them. Asked for and bought a Pond's product, only to find afterwards it's 4 years past expiry date.
Returned to checkout to return it and ask for a refund. The cashier (middle-aged lady) and two other ladies from checkout tried to pull the wool over my eyes and forcefully tell me that it's just the date of manufacture. Apparently, this product was a recent arrival to the store.
There have been other reviews about expired products at this store. I've also seen stickers placed suspiciously over the expiry date of other products. This is unacceptable, and harmful to customers' health.
Love it! It's the only Asian grocery on this side of town that has all the ingredients that I need to prepare a Vietnamese new year
The lady in the counter was so mean to me. I went there because I can do grocery after work, but not cheaper. Catalina in the north is better and never experienced staffs who argues with their customer.
They have a wide variety of asian ingredients, but do check their expiration dates as 50% of the time it's already expired. Butcher staff are also very nice and efficient.
Had more than enough from this place, very unhelpful staffs, no customer service at all. I will never buy anything from this idiots!
Has pretty much anything you would need from an Asian Grocer. Leafy greens can be hit and miss depending on the season
