Arya Indian Cuisine reviews
70I am honestly not a person who do rant reviews but today is our new year tonight and it’s completely ruin due very pathetic arrangements and very rude attitude of manager and owner. Do not recommend for gathering or function.
Entree (Gobi Manchurian, Malai tikka, Potato cheese balls) 4stars out of 5
Mains (Butter chicken, Paneer Dilruba) 2stars out of 5
Overall Average Food With Poor service and Long wait Time.
I was very disappointed with the restaurant last night. My friends organized my birthday at Arya's. The service was too slow, the food was average especially the entrees!
Very disappointing. Totally uninspired, tasteless and spiceless Indian food. Food was cold when we received it. The waitress (owner?) did not want to hear any feedback from me about the food!
Also, why couldn't they do some work on the atmosphere of the place?
We been there with children and we recommend so children are not allowed and staff keeping coming said that children needs to be quiet and sat down on the chair
Very good food, it was a good experience, the people working here were also very one, the service was good location Nice place
Lady answering the phones is not well trained. She doesn't know how to work the uber app. Refused to cancel the order despite them not having what I wanted. Got aggressive. Had to call uber to get it cancelled. Strange attitude.
Arya is by far the best North Indian cuisine I’ve been to. I’ve been to so many in India but nothing can beat this here in South Australia, thank you for such a wonderful experience. For home away from home!
Special thanks to padma the owner of Arya, loved how humble you were! Thank you!
We hired Arya Restaurant for Catering to my Daughter's Wedding reception Dinner in Mid July 2021. Everything was discussed in detail i.e. Menu from Entrees to Main Course. The owner assured us of the best experience. To our utter dismay and reception dinner of nearly 200 Guests was ruined by Arya. It was the worst Management by the owner who was herself in the kitchen cooking and has got no idea to manage this scale. There were only handful of staff serving Entrees on Tables, guests had to wait for getting served, food quantity and quality was at it's lowest and appalling.
The floor manager was asking people to choose between what they can have and what not as this was because they did not have staff in the kitchen. Arya owner made money by providing poor service at our cost and displeasure. They Ruined $700 Wedding Cake the way they served it (inexperienced staff). Some Guests already had a similar experience in before.
Please do not go by ratings. I would give Arya Minus 5
Honestly we had the best company otherwise this is more like a nightmare when it comes to food or service! The drinks and snacks took 30 mins, a friend got his drinks twice and my poor husband had to wait for 30 minutes to be informed that the beer he wants is not available and he needs to order another one! Another 15 minutes for getting the beer.
The service person is very slow or may be not properly trained. The onion bhajiya and achari chicken was super salty - when we told the server about the same- there was actually no acknowledgement nor empathy for the poor taste of the food! Worst was yet to come- the main course arrived we loved the dal tadka, masala kulcha however the chicken chettinad and goat curry was sheer displeasure! While chicken chettinad was not even close to the actual curry, goat curry had raw pieces- when we told the server to advise the chef that the prices are raw he/ she should ensure nobody else gets that curry! The server returned stating “the chef says the goat curry is cooked! ” We have been to fine dinning restaurants before however this is sheer disappointing and left a bad taste in our mouth! We would definitely not recommend anyone to dine!
Best Indian restaurant in locality
Amzaing food with well presentation
I love arya for their catering services.
I always order my all caterings from arya and always above do commendable job.
Very good with big caterings.
Highly recommended
Recently attended one of my close friends marriage, tasted their food through them, it is by far the best Indian food that I’ve ever had!
What a lovely service and what lovely food! Arya, will visit you at your restaurant soon!
Wonderful service from the Arya staff. Food was good too. Keep up this good work.
Thanks.
Had some take away via menu log. Food arrived on time and was warm. Food was very plentiful and tasted great. Some care had gone into it's preparation that is for sure. It actually exceeded my expectations and i have enough for another 2 meals.
New location, New Party Hall, New Energy. What a great party we had at Arya thanks to their professionalism and exemplary customer service right from booking to selecting menu and finally conducting the event. It was son's first birthday so wanted it to be special. Menu choices on offer was extraordinary as compared to other venues browsed and taste was a notch above what we can call yummy and similar was feedback by guests. Each and every guest praised the taste, ambience and customer service provided by Kriti and team. Thankyou Padma Ji for making our function memorable and sincere commendation to you and your team for extra mile you went to make this celebration successful. Thanks!
My first visit to adelaide was a memorable one and thanks to Arya! This north indian restaurant was a saviour for me as an indian who really loves indian food! The naans that i have had here are the best i've ever had! Definitely a must try
I recently visited arya for a brunch with a few friends, and the hospitality and respect that we had been treated with even though we were young was admirable! Not to forget their amazing quality of food! Arya is a must go!
Our first time to Arya on Unley Road and won’t be the last.
Lovely decor, friendly, professional and attentive staff.
The vegetarian entree was fantastic and plenty as a starter for all of us. The Sev Puri was amazing and an excellent introduction to the street snack for those that haven’t been to India and tried it first hand (and crave it)
The tandoori chicken and curries were delicious, flavourful without the heat!
Lots of vegetarian and vegan options and corkage is $15 so worth bringing your own bottle along.
Great place for two or four or eight of us. Table layout is perfect with plenty of space around to not feel cramped.
Go check them out, you won’t be disappointed.:)
We always loved this place. One of the best Indian restaurant in Adelaide. Food is simply superb and the service and hospitaly is excellent. We had a party and used the hall and hall was very good for the large group.
Thank you Arya for providing the exceptional service.
Delicious food. Awesome Service at the restaurant. The owner personally takes care of the guests and give great suggestions to pick food from the lavish menu they have.
