Ardrossan Hotel Motel

Dropped in for some tea a good idea just right distance from Adelaide. - they could easily setup a sign 15 mins out of town and the meal would be ready when you arrive.

Good staff. Excellent pub style meals. Situated in main street. Off street parking limited and on street parking. Close to shopping area. Hotel motel rooms very clean.

Really poor food, very overpriced.schnitzel was very small and paid over $30.
Schnitzel looked like it was a 1/2 serve
Waiting staff are excellent, when complained about the meal, manager nowhere to be seen.
Was offered a free round of drinks as compensation.
Was told they ran out of schnitzels
Not good enough, they need to lift their game.
Messaged a complaint through messenger, only replied with a thumbs up emoji. Very arrogant response,
You would be better off travelling to the Yorke Valley Hotel, at least you get a consistent decent feed there.

Great country pub! Great food and great service! Really recommend this place for a meal and good night out.

We had lunch there. The food was really nice. The salad and vegetable bars were good too. The staff were really nice.

Initially appearing an old property, once time spent in the room it soon became obvious that there is good care taken on cleanliness.
While rooms are old fashioned, mine was very clean, the bed was very comfortable with clean, well fitted sheets & good blankets. Heating works fine. Creaky floor boards add to the character, or, detract from the quality - depending how fussy you are.
I didn't expect 5 stars with concierge services in a small country town, didn't come here for that!

Went for a day drive to Ardrossan. At evening meal time decided to go to the Ardrossan pub for a meal. Ladies were of good cheer. Meals five star. Made the days end fabulous. Would recommend them to anybody.

Came here for two lunches over two days, one to celebrate family members 90th. Meals were DELICIOUS, best pub meals my family and I have had in a very long time. Very highly recommend

Didn't get to eat in the hotel it was packed so please book a table.
Pricey but the meals looked decent.

I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere In this hotel the service was great and the food was really good. I'm preety sure is was the owner who served us, not sure, but she was lovely. She was short, with blonde hair and wore glasses, her personality was awesome.

Six of us had lunch in the dining room today, everyone happy with their generous sized meals, except me, I ordered a lamb yiros that was cold when it reached the table, with tasty fries on the side. Waitress said she would sort it out. Returned minutes later with my meal that had been reheated in the microwave. Tasty chips now too hot and no longer crispy, salad on the yiros (cucumber, tomato, lettuce) warm and limp, and the wrap all soggy. Disappointing effort.

Rooms are simple but extremely clean, showers are amazing! Fantastic location and the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, even a late check in was accommodated!

Great local hotel. Many meals have been consumed over quite a few years and am yet to have had a bad one. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This Hotel caters for our trophy night presentation dinner every year and put aside a room for us to be able to gather without disturbance to us or other guests. Keep up the good work
Highly recommended. Back after a few years away. Pub has been refreshed. Food, excellent. The Top Pub has certainly stepped up. Had a great night at our Clubs Presentation Dinner. Staff were fantastic, meals, beautiful, all served in a timely manner. Congratulations to all the staff. AAA 1

Location of the rooms were great, quietly situated at the back of the hotel. Honestly cannot hear the standard noises from a busy Hotel.

For my partner and myself, It was nice to see it not modernised like many other country Hotel/Motels. Very nicely set out ensuite and clean!
$110.00 for the night for a couple, I thought was a very fair price.

Suggestions if I may:
Coffee was limited to International Roast
Nescafe would be an awesome addition you could also offer.
An Information book regarding local attractions, information regarding the Hotels history etc
Menu, specials, breakfast Menu with drinks list would also be a great way to tempt your guests.

Overall, a very comfortable room to stay while you travel around the York Peninsula.

My sister and I went for lunch. We had a lovely meal that came in reasonable time and was very yummy and the customer service was excellent

After reading good reviews we booked a table for two on a Friday for the Saturday night. Got there at 7. Staff were friendly. We ordered our meals. An hour later we noticed that the only activity was dishes being taken back and started to wonder. Another couple had sat down about fifteen minutes before that and then their meals came. I asked and the waitress said she would check, coming back with they won't be long instead of being honest and apologising for us being forgotten. We had to ask for our money back.

One of two pubs in Ardrossan and this is apparently the better one although we didn't go to the other one which didn't look very inviting anyway. There for a Saturday night tea. We had the chicken tortillas and the rump steak. Both of which were very nice. Great friendly service and just a nice country pub. 4.5 stars

Decent Country pub, no frills. Good schnitzel, nice salad on the side. Large dining hall area with a no fuss atmosphere.
