Aquatic Reserve reviews
20One of my favourite places to go for a bbq. The kids can enjoy yhe bike park, kick the footy, swim, paddle or throw a line in.
Great slot. You can go for a paddle, swim or walk around the lake. Great for family picnics with the bbq and play area
Great place to relax for a bit. Perhaps could use some more public amenities. Still very nice!
Beautiful place.great quiet little beach.swimming was fun.but fishing was even better.plenty of shade.great nike track too.
Your fish are sassy and didn't take my bait so 1 star. On a scale of 1 to 100 you are a 4 and only based on being close. Otherwise you suck. And your fish suck.
Great little spot for water activities and nice bmx track
Only thing is it really needs some money spent on the facilities and the lawn maintenance.
Council really needs to focus on spend our rate payments on this and not flashy Council chamber facilities.wouldn't happen overseas as residents would not tolerate it.
Really Loved This Place, was Peaceful, Tranquil and Gorgeous Scenery! Although it was Sad to see so much Litter! Come On People's, BIN IT, it's not hard! These Beautiful Animals need their Home, so we should treat it with Respect!
This is a reserve by West Lakes. The environment is beautiful and quiet. You can park near the lawn. There are some barbecue facilities. The public toilet is right next to it. BMX facility is a feature here.
Excellent bike park for beginners as well as advanced bike riders. Fresh water fountain shaded seating great outlolk and maintained by volunteers. Great place.
This is a lovely place to sit of an afternoon. I often just park here to eat my dinner or to read a book on the grass by the water.
Sea school. Packed with kids year round. Cafe. Beach. Toilets. Bbq. Playground. Non swimmers need flotation devices as very deep water only 2 meters from shore. Blue ring octopus in old cans and shells have been reported.
It's a great place. Well kept by Council. Lawns are soft. Lake is clean. Picnic table set up, lots of fish.
I had a fantastic time at the reserve, watched for a while the pelicans and other seabirds before I decided to walk to the small beach part. In my way back I removed a heap if plastic waste careless people did throw in the water. A lovely situation followed: one of the female pelicans was waiting for its daily treat by a resident which she ate out of the hand of the woman and her pint-size boy.
I happily recommend going on this side of the reserve, have a rest on the benches, smell the air, watch the seabirds and/or walk the reserve and enjoy the wonderful colours the residents and the nature present for free to the ones appreciating a little oasis in the hectic life.
Great place to do some resting and walking, along small stretch of beach. And maybe a little fishing If feeling lucky.
Site for Canoe SA and Dragon Boat SA. A pleasant place to park, sit, picnic, fish or swim with a bike 'rally-cross' dirt track behind.
Great spot for doing water activities and picnics with family and friends. Toilets in close proximity. Grassed areas. Parking is available.
Fantastic view and plenty car park attarcts lots of people to park and watch the magnificent view.
Dragon Boats are a disgrace, way too loud starting very early in the morning. No concern for residents what so ever. Do not stick to Charles Sturt Councils regulations and the council doesn't even care.
Water warriors Dragon boat club.
Competitive team environment.
Training Wednesday 5: 45pm, Friday 5: 45pm and Sunday 9: 45am
