Young child there was very rude and unprofessional felt racially attacked. Messy hair made the whole experience a mess. Did not feel safe or cared for will not return.

The child looked about 13 and is likely a special needs hire. In future please teach him how to interact with customers and provide better service.

I've paid a deposit for carport in January 2023 and Apex got the full council approval too by April 2023. They even charged 90% of the total amount in May month to get the installers on the job. Installers took all the final dimensions onsite too in May month itself but after that there's no update. I tried contacting them multiple times over phone and in-person but no satisfied answers so far, communication is not their strong point I believe.
It's full-on winters this year with heavy rains, winds and hail storms and still there's nothing I can cover my cars under.

Till date there's no estimate from Apex on how long this will take and keep telling me to wait like their other 50 odd customers are waiting. Not sure what's taking them so long to install a simple free standing carport and that too after paying more than 90% of the amount.
If you are considering building a shed or a carport with Apex Home Improvements, please think twice. As I found the whole experience extremely disappointing.

Good prices and friendly service. Convenient location and off street parking. They will cut steel to size for you at $1.80 / cut (compared to Greensteel's $4.00 / cut). Can recommend.

Just had our 3rd large shed completed by the team at Apex Home Improvements Edwardstown. Lisa and Mathew in the office are always helpful and quick to answer any questions we had during the process as well as keeping us up to date on the progress. Tony and his team were very quick to do the installation and left the site perfectly clean when finished. We had a few quotes and they were the best value for money by far. The shed is constructed with good quality steel and the frames are all welded not like the cheap bolt up stuff others do. I will always recommend these guys and go back if I need a shed or Veranda.

Called in for a shed and pergola quote today. Waited at counter to discuss and two staff members didn’t even acknowledge me. One was on a call ant the other was doing paperwork. Walked out and business failed at the first step

Paid a deposit for my shed in August 2019, Apex did not install until January 2020, thats 5 months, It takes 3 months to build a house!
Paid extra to use their private certifier to gain council approval quicker as well, now winter hits and the rain pours in due to not enough fall on the box gutter.
There was no rain head supplied for gutter down pipe and still have not received an explanation why the z flashing was not supplied for above the 3 windows which by the way took an extra month to install, All this at a mere cost of over $17,000, If you are considering building a shed with Apex Home Improvements, Don't bother. Communication is not their strong point.

I used Apex after seeking quotes from a number of suppliers to build my carport. Easily the standout from the first engagement, then after selection of a very competitive quote the job the team performed was of of a very high quality, the site was left in perfect condition and they worked extremely quickly. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I like my shed, but not the customer service. Bought a DIY kit a while ago, paid the deposit. Suddenly there were a bunch of extra charges when choosing options (not extras), not mentioned in the advertised price, even when they made no difference to the final kit. In fact choosing a wider door meant *less* steel in the frame and no change to the actual arrangement of members. Somehow that had to cost significantly more. Salesman was was quite smug about it, too. Also, door lock was delivered with only a single key on the ring. I rang to ask about it and they said it only comes with one. First in history, I reckon. That or someone was holding on to the other one for "other reasons. " I don't trust them, and would not buy from them again.

Peter and the team did a great job installing our fence. Quick and neat job.they left the place cleaner than it was to begin with. Very happy with the work and great communication.

Apex designed and installed for me a fully custom shed, specific to my requirements that no other shed company that I contacted could offer. I bought few seconds sheets from there recently. Very bad experience! Very bad customer service! Very disappointed! They are losing not only a small customer but also some potential big customers.
