Anytime Fitness

I rated this gym one star only. The reasons are:
- Poor attention to details by management in relation to paperwork.
- I was charged 99 AUD for the access key despite I cancelled my membership during 7days cooling off period.
One star is for gym facilities which are modern and great quality.

From a Business and HR background, I appreciate manners and professionalism, I commend all the staff, the 2 young ladies in particular,
Always a welcoming smile
And constantly displaying a genuine interest in your fitness, journey and general wellbeing.
Gentle encouragement goes a long way.

Nah, not recommended at all, zero customer service on billing. I put the membership on freeze then decided to cancel it. They asked me to pay for next month to cancel the membership. And then they are not going to tell you if a payment declined for a time you will be charged nearly $8. And when you asked to pay over the phone the remaining amount, they come up with another excuse that your auto-payment is under process can not pay over the phone until it's finished.
Easy money right!

They tell you that your account is on hold, but they keep charging you. You try to contact them to get your money back, they make it impossible. I definitely do not recommend. Extremely disappointed with the lack of management and service.

You claim your "Fitness" is "Anytime", yet are conveniently closed when I show up for my timely 3am workout. Curious.

Always clean, friendly and helpful staff, good selection of equipment, open 24 hours. What more could you ask for?

Great and friendly staff, supportive and warm atmosphere. The space itself is very clean and spacious. Not too crowded even at peak times which is great. Very happy to be training here and I strongly recommend it!

Why open a gym where there is no parking? Couldn't find parking, 10 businesses and 10 parking spots available where the gym is, Worst location.if your driving dont even bother coming here

I’ve been a member of and worked at many gyms across Australia and in the UK. Nigel is a fantastic club manager. He’s made me feel very welcome and gave me a great rate - I’m excited to train in such a positive environment! Thanks Team

The gym is good but i can never forgive them what had happened in 2017/2018. After joining up for my girlfriend, i paid them the join up fee which was $50, of which i decided to pay in cash upfront. I even remember going across the road to withdrawal cash and leaving my bag in the office. We had a long chat and enjoyable discussion. After a week or so. I got my first bill. Lo and behold. I had got charged the join up fee still. I trusted them they would get it right. I wasnt given a receipt so it was hard to prove.

This is not the current staffs fault but it was the previous guys fault (who now I believe have left)

After few emails, i never got a reply and when i did connect.was told they would ask the manager but never got back to me, so i stopped bothering. It truly left a sour taste in my mouth. I still like it though but be warned everyone.

Though it is a sign of warning if they do make a mistake. It will be hard to get your money back.

Facilities are fine, but I had a really bad experience with unauthorised billing. It took 5-6 phone calls and a visit in person to get half the incorrectly debited amount back. I also had to call the bank to block further debits because they continued even after assurances the error had been sorted.

I feel terrible leaving bad reviews but I was pretty angry about this and still am.

The gym itself usually doesn't get too packed during the week and the set up is ok. The only issues I have are that you always get ripped off on sign up, they send endless offers even when you opt out; and finally when it comes to cancelling your membership over the phone they palm you off and say you have to pay for 2 weeks, but as always you get stuck paying for 4.

A decent gym, unfortunately the parking lot is very small and shared with the adjacent businesses, meaning in most cases you need to park on the street. An excessive number of machines were closed with signs saying "Unavailable due to Social Distancing" - I would've thought that it'd be more productive to rearrange the equipment to maximize the number of machines that can be used, rather than leaving them bunched together?

Typical poor service from anytime fitness, no customer support what so ever, the only time they get back to you is when they are chasing your membership money.

The worst experience ever!
As I just moved to this area, and was looking for a gym nearby, phoned many times, no answer, I then booked an appointment via the website, the gym itself is okay, however the staff was sooo rude and unhelpful!
I would never ever come back again!
