Anytime Fitness reviews
11I have been attending Anytime Fitness at Fulham Gardens for a longtime and found it to be a well run gym with excellent and friendly staff
Loving the revamp at the Fulham venue and its extensive range of equipment. I have used various Anytime gyms in Australia and NZ and have always found them to be clean with cheerful, supportive staff.
Great club and staff are friendly and very helpful gym has been renovated and looks fantastic highly recommend going there for a great workout
Great location and the staff is super friendly! Dom takes care of the location and creates an awesome atmosphere for members! Love training here
Great gym. Whilst a little smaller than most other Anytime, it generally doesn't feel cramped. Great variety of equipment and the atmosphere is fantastic, most people there are engaging and friendly making even the most unseasoned gym goer feel welcome.
Facilities are always clean and in good order.
Compact but a good gym. There’s everything that you need, it’s just a little small for my liking.
Can be waiting a while if equipment is being used (usually not the cardio equipment though).
It’s immaculately clean with two unisex shower/bathroom facilities. Friendly clientele.
Easy parking & open 24/7 to members. It’s handy if you workout at odd hours of the day (less busy).
Well maintained gym. All the equipments are in great condition. Also gym is under a lovely management.
Place for teens or older to exercise. Not sure of membership requirements. But many different ages and body types go there. Can have free trainer once. More than one machine on some. Plus floor space to do stretches, with mirror. Just bring towel with you. Staffed during the day. Monday to Fri. Check full times. Can train without staff there. They have a special at moment $10 joining fee and free to end of 2020. Love training out keeps my weight off and helps strength movement and flexibility. Good to ask physio exercises once you see equipment and get some exercises from them to do there. I do all exercises from specialist there. Bring my own equipment. And my own mat due to covoid. Friendly encouraging staff. I have many injuries. But still are able to do work out within my limits. People go at own pace. They have rewards program swipe card and 5 points per day or time you work out. Items are things from their shop.
Not many people use towels and benches/equipment are always left sweaty and not wiped down. Very unhygienic and rules never enforced even after leaving feedback several times.
While the location is great, the gym itself is not so and I am a big anytime fan.
What I don't like.
It's very aged (totally overdue for a revamp) and quite dusty. I literally got grease on my hands from 2 machines.
Loose dumbells and tethered resistance bands.
Huge industrial fans literally IN YOUR FACE on the treadmill and stepper and bikes some less than 3 ft away. Makes it so hard to breath and causes dry eyes also there are so many fans in such a small area.
The cable cross over machine isn't properly in line with the mirror which throws off your posture and talk about crowded, while having a variety of equipment is important, this is overkill and outright dangerous.
I LOVE that they have an abducter/adductor machine and for the most the members are there to train not just socialize.
TV music? Literally. No sound system at all. It's loud and I am sure the speakers are busted.
I do hope for an overhaul in this gym ASAP Till then I will probably just stay away.
Average club but the staff are good and members seem to be nice. Main dislike is that the bathrooms are always in bad condition, unclean, no lids on bins or covered toilet brushes. The gym has all the quality LF and HS equipment you need really but nothing out of the ordinary. It does get goddam hot in the evenings, I don't know if the airconditioners suck or they just don't get put on.
