Antica Pizzeria E Cucina reviews
56Pizza was delicious. Love the meter long pizzas with up to 3 toppings. Great for sharing. Drink service a little slow but a great restaurant with friendly service.
Very enjoyable experience. Service friendly and professional. Pizza great flavour. Pasta dish - wonderful sauce, pasta a touch undercooked. Wines, an appropriate selection.
Perfect place for a leisurely lunch - the lunch specials are good value for the pizzas or pasta dishes. You can select the same pizza as the normal menu, just in a smaller size for lunch. Dessert is good too, check out the cabinet when you walk in for the selection on offer
Delicious pizzas, pasta and desert. Very friendly service and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Came in and had the lunch special, nice table outside, lamb ragu fettuccine and the spaghetti with olives and tomatoes, service was excellent
Noisy, cramped, slow service.asked for our drink orders after food was served.
Pizzas far too big, but most of the edges were huge blackened dough while the middle was a puddle.
Only 1 page of drinks available and most were over priced. Very small range.
Food was expensive, $20 - $30 for a pizza.
If you don't understand Italian don't bother with the menu.
I will vote with my feet and never go back.
Very happy overall. Charged $9 for water though without telling us it cost money to have. Wasn't even enough for the whole table
We came here for Valentine's Day dinner. Pretty busy with people waiting outside for tables. I thought $6 per arancini was a bit rich. Only 2 small slices of bread per person for the salumi misti - but pizza was authentic Italian style and fresh. Our waitress was really sweet. Nothing was too much trouble.
How amazing are the pizzas?
Good quality, fresh ingredients. Super super tasty pizzas and they are fast too, you won't have to wait long!
Staff are friendly and helpful.
We will be back!
A nice little place with a good atmosphere, good food and great service. The value/ could be improved though.
Great, fast and friendly service, food is delicious! Definitely recommend here for some nice pizzas and polenta chips
Delicious authentic Italian woodfired oven pizza. Minimalistic toppings with a focus on quality.like they do back in Italy. Lovely atmosphere on King William road. A little more expensive than the average place but it is well worth it. This place was recommended by an Italian and we were not disappointed.
Capricciosa was to die for, my wifey had quattro formaggi gnocchi, which was also great. Nice chilled atmosphere, relaxed service - will definitely be back!
Probably the worst pizza joint i've ever been to to be honest. The food is super sloppy, and its too salty which does NOT make a good pizza. I don't recommend coming to this place. There is another place called Melt in King William Road, and its way better than this.
Came by chance as we missed out on table elsewhere and boy were we glad. Pasta was beyond good, the wine was fantastic and the staff were great as well. If you want delicious and satisfying Italian, you cannot go wrong here
We eat a lot of pizza and maybe it was just a bad night but from start to finish it was a balls up.
We arrived and the table I had booked wasn’t booked. Couldn’t find the booking. Ok no problem just made me feel like it was an issue. Hardly anyone else in the Restarant so should have been a momentary issue. 5 mins later they “find a table for me” - oh well thanks for the favour.
Prepared to over-look that but then 15min before our drinks order taken. Seriously? 2 other tables in the restaurant with people on them.
Ok, drinks order placed and LUCKILY placed the pizza order at the same time. 30 mins later the pizzas come out 5 mins apart.
Not that hard people. Get yourselves together and live up to the hype. I’m sure it was an aberration, I’d hope so anyway.
