Angus Neill Reserve reviews
61Good playground for young children and covered tables and eating areas for all. Clean auto toilet facilities. Drinking fountain.
I love this park to walk through with the dog to the other side. 2 x bbq's and seating. Lovely green grass. Can get busy at times though - especially on warmer days. Nice seafront location.
Lovely Reserve. Beautifully maintained. Very accessibly friendly with the pathways, toilet access and no step to the disabled park.
**It's seaside - no barrier between there and the beach, so be careful of getting wind burn on the elderly and kids - they are better off in something light, but long sleeved and collared**
Definitely pack the sunscreen and hat, there's a lot of space that's not undercover.
Children's play area has water play - pack a change of clothes. Plenty of space even when it's busy to pack a footy, cricket, Frisbee or grip ball. Toilets are the new style automatic 10min toilets with music so if you have "that" toddler that goes 100 times then a few more, be prepared for that game
There are only 2 Gazebos so it's a 6: 30am trip to get there to reserve and snag a Gazebo.
Take your own Gazebo if going later in the day.
Actually quite an impressive amount of parking, although the carparks are quite tight for bigger vehicles, but there's plenty of road parking too.
Fantastic spot with a park right in walking distance to a beautiful beach. Would recommend for events and get togethers/picnics. Perfect all rounder.
Great well maintained park, good clean bbq facility and toilet. Beautiful view of the beach and all round nice place to relax for all occasions
Very nice park. Nature play area, several tables under cover, cement paths good for bike riding and rollerskating, public toilets, steep grassy slope excellent for ice blocking, play equipment for primary aged children, lovely beach views, parking at either end of park. Some shady areas, lots of grass.
Our kid favourite park, lots of open grass to play on, playground is fun, and great having public toilets on site
Very nice place with family friendly service and very well organised, just missing lights i night and very dark at night with limited light which turned off at 9 - 930pm.
Great place for a family get together, we enjoyed a birthday party with the kids and friends. Be ware though, the BBQ runs really hot, do not turn your back on wings for more than 30 seconds.
Great facility with plenty of shade in summer and beach access. The mobile coffee vendor is good too!
Nice park. Toilets are a bit yuck. Toilet paper and sand covering the floor of two of the toilets there
This is a fantastic playground, the sand pit and water pump are covered by shade sails that actually provide shade, there’s two shaded seating areas and BBQs and a great hill for kids to roll down. It’s also close to the beach! What more could you ask for?
Lovely little park with free off street parking, with plenty for the little ones and close to the beach.
Very nice lawned public park with BBQ and conveniences in close proximity to beach. Great location for picnic or just relaxing.
I love the whole Seacliff Esplanade, the board walk development, the hotel, the reserve are all fantastic. Not as overpopulated as Glenelg and Brighton, it's usually quite easy to park your car.
Highly recommended!
A well loved green space in the community, it was beautiful. The wind from the beach, balancing the heat of the sun, amazing views of the shore, and sunset.amazing. Good facilities, good community.a great park for a small get together.
Nice playground with big sand pit, barbeques and sheltered picnic tables. Also has plenty of space to kick about, ample parking and toilets. Oh, sea views and sea breeze is great too. Worth staying till sunset.
Well thought out reserve with something for everybody.
Liked how kids were chalking the paths.
Even has a coffee van at front with delicious coffee.
Great playground, has swings, slides, benches with tables, toilets, sand pit, pirate ship, drinking fountain.
Good for small and big kids!
Beautiful place to spend with family. Great playground, spacious picnic area. Fun chasing birds, rolling down the hill, beautiful view.
