We tried them out as we often get takeaway and I’m so glad we tried them out as the food was so tasty and fresh we have eaten from there a couple of times and will keep going back

Amazing service over the phone when placing my order, my partner picked up our order and said both of you were so friendly and have beautiful customer service!
Food also so yummy! 10/10 will be coming back

Order was burnt it used to be great food shouldn't have been delivered unacceptable would the person that cooked it eaten that I don't think so

Absolute best fish and chips in the northern suburbs, all there food is 10/10 especially there burgers and great customer service, will go here for the rest of my life.

Huge shout out to the crew at Anderson Walk Takeaway!
I've had a specific request from my son for "Roast chicken from a Chicken Shop" but the last chicken had sold moments before I placed my order!
After a quick think, I accepted the generous offer to replace the chicken with 3 items - also very specific to my cater to my son's needs - rather than worry about a refund through MenuLog
My son was disappointed but he worked through his emotions and not even 10 mins later, our order was on its way!
I was already so impressed by their customer service but it was the complimentary Milky Way with a sweet apology note about missing out on the Roast Chook that just made mine and my boys week.
He even asked me to call and say thank you, but I thought this would also encourage others to try something new and support a local outlet that supports families of all needs
The food was absolutely delicious and I cannot wait to try more of the range of foods on offer!

After 8 years living in Craigmore we have finally found a fish and chip shop as a family we enjoyed. Will definitely be our regular after trying most in the Playford Council area. The owner was brilliant in customer service and very friendly and explained and answered questions we had about what was home made and why the chips are yellow. Can't wait to try this place again. P. S your Potato Fritters were amazing, the batter was so crunchy can't wait to try some fish battered next time.

Haven’t been here for a number of years. Thought I’d try again as I knew they did the type of chips when I grew up (non yellow) Not any more.the typical yellow ones. They were not nice. Had about 12 chips and threw the rest out - ordered medium. Just a weird stale or overcooked taste. The battered fish was good but the batter not so.like rubber. Sorry I can only review how I felt. Would I return… no. Sorry prob the worst fish n chips I’ve had in years. 98% chips were thrown out. The place looked clean apart from the roof that looked like yellow oil stains. Made me feel unhygienic.

Love my local take away shop! My son and I love the chips and dippy dogs here! They also throw in a little lolly which my son likes.keep up the great work guys!:)

UTTER LACK OF EVEN BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.

My family and I thought we'd try out this takeaway while we were out and about one evening and expected that it might be half-decent given it has generally positive reviews.

When we entered, there was one customer sitting down, a male staff member apparently finishing up the order for the seated customer, and a female staff member working the grill. For the entire approximate five minutes which we were in the shop, not once did a staff member even glance at us, there was no 'welcome', not even the glimmer of a smile or other form of acknowledgement.

When the male staff member finished with the seated customer's order they immediately then disappeared into the rear of the shop, returning a minute or so later to briefly chat with the female staff member at the grill, before turning around to tell a person who just entered, who appeared to be a delivery driver, that their order was not ready for collection. Then, the male staff member walked right past us again, for the third time, to return to the back of the shop.

Needless to say, my family and I wasn't stupid enough to stick around in the event that we may, at some random future point, eventually be served - we left and then spent our $60+ at another business which operated in the exact opposite manner (i.e. Immediately welcomed by all three staff members as soon as entering, immediately asked if our order could be taken etc.).

While I can certainly understand and appreciate that a business 'may' be busy and while I do not generally have any issue with waiting a reasonable period of time to receive an order once it has been placed, to not even be acknowledged, welcomed or even have my order taken, while there are no other customers in the shop, is just simply pathetic.

There's no way I would ever recommend Anderson Walk Takeaway to anyone based upon my experience - they're so pathetic, rude and inept that you're definitely better off spending your money elsewhere.

RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:
Thank you for reinforcing the main point of my review regarding your utter lack of customer service skills.

Knowing so much about the internet, you obviously know of the significant impact that both social media and business reviews have upon your business - where, previously, one dissatisfied customer may tell ten others about their negative experience, now one dissatisfied customer may tell significantly more. As a vastly skilled business manager you are undoubtedly aware that retaining existing customers costs less than it does to attract new ones. You could have utilised my review, and those of others, as an opportunity for improving customer dissatisfaction, yet instead you believe the appropriate response is a vitriolic and delusional ad-hominem tirade in an ego-driven attempt to cover up your own ineptitude.

Now, let's delve into the biological waste product which you have seemingly dredged-up from the depths of your depraved ego.

You did not proffer a greeting - your lie is verified by your own actions. Let's imagine that you had greeted us as we entered. You state that you observed we were (supposedly) distracted, yet you supposedly proffered this supposed greeting anyway, rather than catching our attention when we weren't distracted to provide it. Of course, you state it is your belief, once you observed we supposedly weren't aware of your supposed greeting, that the logical customer service approach to take is to wait for us to ask you if we could order, rather than asking us if we might be ready to order. That's your idea of good customer service.

Expecting new customers to your business to question your employees as to whether it is their first shift is illogical.

No insults were "yelled" when exiting your business. A sarcastic comment, "Great customer service", was designed to be heard by you over the extraction fans and by the customer waiting outside, as you made it clear that you are not worth our time - The review and response here is, hopefully, for the benefit of our peers.

Wanting a cheat day head on in to Anderson walk takeaway and grab your self the best food in the north it also comes with the best customer service and the best price would recommend to anyone the shop is so tidy you can sit down on their floor and eat ya chips LOL 10/10 keep up the good work guys

Have usually been ordering to them through uber eats but today we decided to pick it up personally at the shop. Service was friendly, recommended us to call instead to save a few $$ rather than through uber. Their food is great too! Would always come back for an AB fix

Waited 25 minutes for a small order. No one in the shop before me. Continued to take uber and menulog orders while myself and 2 other groups sat there (last group arrived 5 mins after me and their order still hadn't been started when I left).

I watched my order sit in the basket "draining" for almost 10 minutes whilst more uber orders were taken and prioritised.

Order was barely warm and over cooked.

One of the workers was handling pita wraps and hot dog/burger rolls and tge fillings with no gloves.

To take a business opportunity and actively choose to build back better is rare but invaluable to the evolution of society because it is not maps, money or government that define a community, but those who live and work within them. Anderson Walk Takeaway are actively civic minded and artists with a deep fryer making them in all senses a true asset to the community and my taste buds.

If your looking for traditional fish & chips or a hamburger made the way it should be then this might be the place.

I have been looking for that place that does this kind of food the way we used to get when I was a kid.

The chips are amazing, the fish is a nice size and cooked just right.hamburgers.well you need both hands for these, no joke and the way I remember a hamburger is supposed to be.

The people who run this place are nice too.

Yes they have a table and chairs outside for two people.but this is the takeaway experience.

Even whilst inundated with in-store orders, Uber ect, our order was put together flawlessly in a timely fashion. Quality service and food.

The chips were both off and raw, the chicken was not cooked enough (in my opinion and what I received.) You can improve better, and small business? That shop has been opened for ages. Small businesses are new launched businesses. Please don't get mad when I rated this low, not my fault I experienced this.

Was my 1st Time today, very clean shop, food was amazing cooked to perfection, staff very friendly, prices were very good, great stuff keep up the great work, I highly recommend this place 10/10

Way too much salt, way too much oil. Overcooked chips when I asked them for undercooked.

WOW. That customer service was next level.

First time visit, seen a variety on the menu. Seen a very well presented shop with clean floors, benches and Star Wars posters (good sign).

The lovely lady didn't rush me at all.

I decided on a Small AB Combo with all the sauces.

The food was good, I give it a solid 4/5.
The prices on the menu are very reasonable given the current climate.

I will definitely be back.
