Great spacious self contained house with large open plan bedroom, living area and kitchenette. Large bathroom as well. Pretty big place and a nice gas fireplace that is extremely easy to operate. Very very clean and a perfect base for My Gambier with cafes and the cave park nearby. Highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Stay at this premium hotel. Really stands up to its name as it welcomes you with all the essentials you need for a pleasant stay. With laundry facilities adds that extra touch. Safe free carpark right infront of your room.

Nice, sparkling clean and we'll maintained.close to shops.only issue is if you sleep in corner room next to road you will hear a lot of noise in the morning esp bin trucks moving in and out.even with closed windows.

The accommodation itself is lovely and well located.
Unfortunately the owner Nicola is quite rude and rarely responds to messages. I’ve sent two texts and a voice messages, all of which she has never bothered to reply to.
Poor service and for this reason we would choose to stay elsewhere.

Great central location, really clean and had all the comforts needed. The apartment was faultless. We walked to breakfasts and dinners and had a comfortable dinner at home. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Was definitely clean and smelt lovely. Spacious and new. Right in town as you can see in the pictures, we watch the kids racing round the carpark in shopping trolleys - from the supermarket that was within walking distance to the room and later as it got dark we seen the dumpster divers across the lane when we went to get our washing - which was done in the provided free laundry which was great. Couldn't have a coffee when the skip bins across lane was emptied at 5: 30am because no tea or coffee satchels supplied.

Very well presented and clean. Very good amenities and size of the room. Will definately be looking to stay here again.

Premium is the best way to describe it, the room had everything we needed for our stay and nothing had been overlooked

The hotel was really nice and I enjoyed the time there with my family. I definitely recommend for families and young couples. There are many attractions near by and is absolutely clean. The sad thing was that we travelled when the outbreak in Mount Gambier happened, so we decided not to wait and leave on Day 2 of our 5 day stay. When we arrived at Home Sweet Home, we asked for a refund from the owner who did not give us a refund saying the policies did not change even throughout Covid - 19. This is the reason why my rating went from a 5 star review, to a 4 star review. Thank you. It is a very good place.

I would definitely stay here again. Right in the heart of the town - almost unusually located as there are a lot of businesses around but once inside there is no noise.

The gas heater is amazing but there's also a reverse cycle split system if you prefer.

There was an unusual smell like the apartment had been recently painted but nothing opening the windows for a while couldn't fix and oddly only one roll of toilet paper supplied other than the one on the holder.

All the appliances and areas were very clean. Smart TV with wifi available so you can login to your Netflix/Stan account. Wardrobe if you have anything to hang up and ample cutlery and other basic kitchen supplies to make basic meals. Bathroom is large and clean.
