Stayed in a clean room and a 4-bedroom cottage; well-maintained property, conveniently located near a supermarket.

This time is the second time we are staying here. Really great location, walking distance to a few cellardoors, pubs and restaurants. Just a short drive to a lot of wineries in the region. Rooms are tidy and clean and great sizes. The owners of the suite are super lovely. We will definitely be back staying here again!

There is nothing that can be faulted with this beautiful motel. Tania and Paul went above and beyond for us, they even acted as witnesses for our quick marriage ceremony on the gorgeous courtyard lawn area of the motel. The king suite is superb, really comfortable and has all you need. We can’t recommended this motel more highly, it was a pleasure to stay here. Hopefully we’ll be back one day!

What a lovely place to stay! Beautiful room, continental breakfast was great. Thankyou for a wonderful stay in such an iconic town.

We had a lovely stay of three nights. Spacious room, clean, great continental breakfast that we enjoyed. Short walk into town for morning coffee and retail therapy. Tania is so friendly and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble to ensure we were happy and comfortable. Felt we were leaving a friend behind when we left this morning. Shall be rebooking when we return next month.

At $250 a night you would have expected doors to close and lock - no so, front door lock very difficult to open with key and only partly latched lock. Owner when advised said she was unaware, - however the bedroom door and the toilet door would not latch shut either, in fact one of us was locked into the toilet and had to be let out by someone else! Not a safe thing at all.

Although the motel advertises breakfasts, when we asked, the answer was no because the cottage was self contained. This might have been OK we were staying for several nights, but one night- really!

Being given the "I didn't know" by the owner, ensure we won't be back again.

Great location to wineries, local supermarket, pubs and restaurants. Suites where dated, but comfortable. Not the 4.8 stars listed. Staff were friendly and helpful, but if you are looking for 4.8-5 star accomodation this is not the place for you.

My wife Maree, and I found Tania and Paul to be excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the cottage and it was very comfortable, with plenty of room. The large shower was a treat and the kitchen was highly functional. The cottage delivered an abundance of natural light and night time was peaceful, so good sleeps were enjoyed. We were next door to IGA and a short stroll to the Royal Oak Hotel, bakery and cafes. Maree and I certainly intend returning. Book well in advance and book direct. Thank you Tania and Paul!:)

Top Class Hotel at a good price. Spacious, new and clean rooms. Lovely and well maintained gardens. Contactless check in.

Rooms are large, CLEAN, friendly staff, daily housekeeping with breakfast items restocked each day. Large grass picnic space to have a few drinks at the end of the day. Definitely returning as an excellent destination or stay over.

Nice, clean and spacious accommodation. Close to the main street, pubs and restaurants. Have stayed 3 times and a 4th coming up.

We stopped here on a long and winding road trip from Adelaide to Melbourne. The motel is lovely. The room was large, warm and inviting and spotlessly clean. The owner had turned the heating on for us and that was much appreciated on such a cold night. He was friendly and helpful and full of tips for where to eat and where to visit. The price included breakfast, which was a range of toast and spreads, yoghurt, cereal, fruit juice, tea and coffee. The room is well equipped with toaster, microwave and full range of crockery and cutlery. Would definitely recommend and would visit again. The town is a quaint well maintained country town, only a tiny stroll away.

This was such a surprise.check in easy and the room was super clean, spacious and modern. The continental breakfast provided in the room was just perfect.
Could not fault anything at all and would highly recommend the Alexander Cameron.

Very convenient place. Super IGA was next door.
The room also featured a big bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Every day room service was excellent
