Aldinga Medical Centre reviews
28 Not the same since losing Dr. Masters and also becoming Pro Health.
Generally nice reception staff, bar one who is rude and disrespectful.
Was a great Medical Centre until they became Pro Health.
Service now is shocking!
Go to Rowley Road Clinic.
Was really good then dr Scott Masters left and the place changed hands and i haven't been happy since and am having trouble trying to find a good long-term doctor
Great, knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly, competent staff. Professional, caring doctors and nurses. Clean, bright and airy waiting room and consulting rooms. Attached Terry White Chemart.
My 9 year old son was sick and I had to get my mother to take him in as I had to work. Dr Eben Swart went above and beyond, writing a full page of hand written notes for my mother to return to me. I greatly appreciated his help.
Called for my son has cramps in pain and casually they said can get him in tomorrow! Are they serious so taking him back to Adelaide now, very poor service didn’t sound interested at all because he was a new patient!
Very poor service to patients!
Always easy to get an appointment within a few days. Selection of doctors has changed and now no more bulk billing for seniors since business takeover.
Over the last several months, the best Doc Scott Masters left and taken over by Pro Health. Charge you eftpos fees, which you have to use (card) to get medicare rebate. $89 to see a doc (average) for a new prescription after waiting 30 mins over my appointment time. Also no booking usually for a week. Place is a joke!
Just my second appointment of the many to come, supposed to see the doctor at 9.15am and got in at 9.45,
Very disappointed, In March 6 months ago my mum was diagnosed with shingles having severe pain and told it would take time. Ended up in ED with some fluid in the lining. She kept going back to Dr several times as the pain was still there and was not getting better. She then went to another Dr there as she couldn't wait until the next week. He ordered a X-ray that afternoon and was called early evening, she had a mass in the lung and further test to be carried out but by the morning my dad had to call an ambulance, she has ended up in hospital with cancer in her lung.
The first thing I noticed when I drove into the carpark was how empty it was. I had an appointment for 15 minutes, easy just needed some post surgical medication. Well the doctor I saw stuffed around, he couldn't give a toss about my pain or the surgery. I advised him what painkillers I received in hospital and told him that I had been discharged a week and half ago. So long story short, the appt.was 20 minutes, not because I did anything but because he buggerising around. No examination, no physical checking. When I went to the reception they told me that I had gone over a little and the doctor charged me for a long appt. No more, when Scott Masters was there, you went in he knew what he was doing and would never charge you for an extra 5 minutes. I'll be severing my relationship with this medical centre, in my opinion they are just money hungry now.
Really disappointed to be charged for a 30 second awkward telephone consult with Dr Sarah Johnson, who read me one or maybe two sentences from my radiologist report saying everything is fine. My usual doctor is incredible and wouldn’t charge for such a minute service. Very unfortunate she was away when I had to have a quick call. Will be very careful who I book with.
Amazing doctors. The couple of them that I see are helpful and listen. Some of the receptionist staff could be more approachable and less standoff-ish.
How can they charge $88 for a missed appointment when the appointment is only $59? ! So they profit $29 for a missed appointment. So annoyed already they charge above the Medicare rebate. After 14 yrs I think I will find another medical centre.
Apparantly the new policy is they are not accepting anyone with respritory issues anymore. Have a negative covid test and double jabbed but that doesnt matter either. What a joke.
Got a phone call changing appointment from 4.30 to 4.00pm
It’s now 4.45pm and still waiting!
WHY?
What a fantastic community resource, from the time you go through the auto doors you are greeted by extremely friendly, cheerful, knowledgeable reception staff. It is staffed by a wide range of doctors, young and older who the a genuine interest in the welfare and wellbeing of their patients.
It is great to go there and be welcomed by name and to then leave being satisfied that we have possibly the best Clinic in the system. A genuine asset to the Aldinga and surrounding area.
Positive experiences, attended podiatrists rooms, inside Aldinga Medical Cntre, friendly staff too.
After going there for years for my mental health and other stuff the doctor Henning instead of helping me he just got more addicted to drugs that i need and then just says i''';m taking them away and i'llbe suicidal and ;y homicidal without them. This is not right! And he molests his daughter.
Edit: 5 stars coz my doctors have been great:) and it’s definitely worth the price.
Dr Scott Masters is the best and I happily pay full to see him, I wish they still bulk billed though!
