We have just finished doing all our fencing with Aldinga home improvements and we couldn’t be more happy, they were very professional and have provided a quality product with a fantastic finish. Dale was also very helpful when installing the fence.

I have had 2 verandahs built recently by Aldinga Home Improvements. All staff have been very helpful and efficient. The advice during the quotation stage and the attention to detail is greatly appreciated. They took care of everything including council approval and the finished product is superb. The builder did a thorough and quality job. This is the second time I have used AHI and have had a great experience on both occasions.

Really appreciate the fast responses and professional approach from planning through to completion of the verandah. There was such great communication and efficency that I will definetly keep Aldinga Home Improvements in mind for future projects.

Been contracting to these guys for a few years now, super easy to deal with, nothing is ever a problem. Friendly office staff and supervisors are a pleasure to deal with.

We wanted to re-roof our verandah with Insulated Panels to make the area cooler in summer & warmer in winter. Due to this roofing material (100mm thick) having a much more generous span specification, we were able to remove 3 steel beams. This has given us higher ceilings and opened up the space nicely. The 4 LED down lights also look fabulous. The guys at Aldinga Home Improvements did a great job without any fuss and we are delighted with their workmanship and communications. Highly recommended by us.

We couldn't be happier with the outcome from Aldinga Home Improvements. Everything was well communicated and handled with professionalism. AHI have done more than 25 jobs for us over the past 8 years. They have proven reliable and honest with good communication.

Poor communication, poor workmanship, having to wait 8months for a small job to finally be completed just satisfactorily, having to deal with numerous different people due to a very high turnover of staff, plenty of promises made but never kept

Caveat emptor
Neighbour is Building new house and Aldinga Home Improvements (AHI) were engaged to erect 2 retaining walls, north and south sides, with new fences for adjoining neighbours so that the block could be levelled.
Note: Plans for the house, retaining walls and fence, clearly shows that the surveying point for accurate placement of same on the block of land was the telegraph pole across the road from the building site.
AHI site supervisor decided it was the telegraph pole on the same side of the road immediately adjacent to the left of the worksite, and came up with a retaining wall height of 1100mm for south side. I pointed out to the supervisor that the plans show the south wall as being only 600high and that the plans also shows the telegraph pole opposite the site as being the reference point. He refused to listen. Something was clearly amiss…drawing says its 600 high but they work out its 1100mm high?
After wall and new fences erected the excavators arrived some days later to level block and dig foundation trenches.
Well what a stuff up by the supervisor, the wall on the north side does not go deep enough, the bottom sleeper is some 500 above ground level while the other side (south) is some 500mm too high. By all accounts this could easily be a $25,000.00 blunder by the supervisor. I assume that they will fix the wall on the north side as they will need to prevent soil subsidence.
In addition they:
Left mud all over our concrete pathway, and on top of our retaining wall for us to remove and clean.
Concrete splashes from when they filled the pier holes with concrete are still clearly visible on the side wall of our house.
When pulling down the old fence their workers dislodged nine (9) of our retaining wall capping tiles. I was present when they did this and witnessed the dislodgement, yet they deny responsibility. My CCTV security vision also shows the moment the tiles were dislodged.
They left gaps under the sleepers with two (2) of them being some 80-90 mm above the ground level. (They have attempted to redo one (1), but it still has a 20mm gap under the sleeper.)
They backfilled behind our wall with demolition rubble from when old house was demolished.
Left weed infested soil from neighbours land behind our retaining wall and and between the new fence and retaining wall.
Left grinding dust over the top of wall for us to clean up.
The seepage pipe placed behind the wall protruded into our property
Failed to remove three (3) old original fence posts and associated concrete footings as per their requirement.
Bottom fence rails of last four sections of fence are not level, being some 15mm out of level.
I have come to the conclusion that they have convinced the neighbours to accept the wall on the south side (our side), even though this is some 500mm too high from design, allowing them to get away without having to correct it and thus cutting their losses.
The Supervisor also claims I have abused his WORKERS, and states that this is the reason why they will not return to fix the faults (and or damage to our wall) …The supervisor is exaggerating the facts. However, I did have a debate with one (1) of his fencing contractors, during which he stressed that as he had been installing fences for eons he knew more than I by claiming I didn’t know what I talking about. Even though I showed him extracts from The Fences Act which proved that he was wrong, he, the contractor, still continued denying he was wrong…duh! I walked away calling him a di*khead.
If they, AHI, did all the works correctly from the beginning and in a tradesman like manner displaying good workmanship we would not be arguing these works with the neighbour, and nor them.

I have engaged Aldinga Home Improvements on several occasions over the years for work around my house. Firstly for a tapered, custom aluminium fence, secondly for some new gates and most recently for a large shed, also custom built and very complicated. I have been absolutely over the moon with my experiences with Aldinga Home Improvements and a their attention to detail is nothing short of impressive. Nothing is too hard for this company and all of the jobs I have had them complete were far from straight forward. I need more fencing done soon and im looking forward to them doing the work. Friendly staff with great communication and excellent trades. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

I had 4 boundaries of fences installed and unfortunately on 2 separate occasions some panels came apart. Although it had been a couple of years since the works had been done AHI still repaired the fence at no charge. I have just had UFP (under fence plinths) installed to the fences which should have been done at the time the fence was erected. Rather than not being interested in taking responsibility for the oversight, AHI and I came to a fair agreement that would not put either of us too much out of pocket and they were professionally installed and look great. This company has stood by their warranty all the way.

AHI provides excellent customer service. They kept me informed at every stage of the process with my carport. Dale built my carport and I couldn't fault him. Arrived when he said he would, friendly and meticulous with the construction.
Highly recommend AHI and would definitely use them again.

He always returned phone calls, and patiently answered my zillions of questions. And those qualities were also evident in Dale and Matt, the builders who went above and beyond in building our new fence. Not only great workmanship, but excellent communication, respect towards us and our property, and excellent cleaning up after their work. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys, given our recent experience. Thanks Aldinga Home Improvements for your great staff.

Can't recommend these guys highly enough! We recently had a big shed installed at our river shack and it is so well constructed that I'm sure not even the 1956 big flood could harm it!
Compared to some of the cheap imported rubbish on the market, the sheds these guys build are made to last.
We are extremely happy with our choice, and have become the envy of our neighbors.
