ALDI Oaklands Park reviews
37 Not too bad.
Would be nice if they had cash options at their self-serve station.
Aldi at Marion worst store have gone to.
Too much staff gossiping about other staff or ex staff in very nasty way to be bothered to help customers.
They clearly also see you have a catalogue in your hand but annoy you if you want one. When questioned, why would you ask if you have one? Apparently, they get fired if they don't ask.
Dont mind Aldi at all, they have a great range of fresh products and prolly the same as everyone else for everything else - except the bargain buckets which there are much more compared to their peers.
It's pretty damn good. Extra star for the staff putting up with boomers pretending they don't know they have to pack their bags or acting like pay wave is a form of magic.
You guys would make great teachers, patience of a saint.
Today 22 March 22 sadly shelves across the store at Marion SA were lacking products, hopefully this will end soon.
Disappointed.shelves needed stocking.could not get what I required (lard or beef fat). Normal D size batteries at check out instead of being displayed which allows no time to work out what I needed.
I guy who served us the shift manager at 15: 43 didn't even say hello or thanks. Was so unwelcoming and poor customer service.
Smallest room you can find, but clean and the towels are white and fluffy. Feel like you have stepped back in time with the 70's decor and a curios shop in the reception. Delightfully unique.
Too busy, needs a self serving checkout. I wanted buy 2 items, but there were 3 people with full trolleys at the only one checkout. So I left without buying anything
This Aldi is easily the worst in the state. Staff are rude and ignorant. Store is constantly messy and there is almost never anyone available to help when needed. Along with the “airport security” like searching as you leave the store it’s just not a nice place to shop. I live 2 minutes from this store and would still rather drive to Edwardstown if I have to go to Aldi.
I am very unhappy with ALDI because when you go to buy something in there catalogs on a Wednesday and Saturday it is not there to buy.
Great place to shop when they have everything you want on the shelves. Don't ask staff for help as they aren't helpful at all.
Very poor service. A lot of the products are seconds are ok at best in my opinion. I stopped at Coles prior to my wife wanting to shop here, and the checkout person wanted to search my bags of Coles items. I declined, and he had a scene. I said if he believe I stole something, then call the police, I'll wait here, so he can apologise to me, and I was informed "It doesn't work like that" He started telling me their company policy, so I stopped him and informed him, I comply with the state law, not store policy. A long long of people were made to wait, and I gave him his options, but I'm not going to be treated like a criminal for shopping there and I'm not a thief. I have since printed the actual law out and put it in my wallet, in the event that this ever happens again.
Checkout more like customs at an airport.go back to Europe and learn how to pack customers bags: D
I specifically went to Aldi at Marion this morning to buy their advertised towels. I waited for them to open. Nothing was on the noticeboard re towels bieng out of stock. When searching I could not find them and when I asked the response was that they had not arrived. And the excuse was Covid. I accept that sometimes that happens however I do not accept the staff speaking to me without a care factor. Could they learn to start with "I'm sorry"? I will pay a bit more elsewhere from now on if it means that I am treated with courtesy. Bye bye Aldi
Aldi is good prices, everything you need in your Pantry adjustable to your budget. They have clothes here and there and homeware all good.
Low quality fruit. Same prices as Woolies and Independent fruit and veg shop but with lower quality. I lady near me complained and received an abrupt response.
Love the European food stuffs, cheese, fish, biscuits etc surrounded by great Australian fruit, vegetables, meats and breads all at reasonable price. A pleasure to visit, staff helpful.
Every Aldi is the same. Good for the random bargains in the middle. Fruit veg and packaged things are good but I'd never buy meat from Aldi, it's pale and spongy no matter what animal it comes from.
I like Aldi just as much as the next person but if you're looking for a place to do a quick shop then this isn't the right place for you. Their checkout aisles are always full no matter what time you choose to go, with customers that have trolley loads of shopping. They don't supply baskets either which is a pain but the upside is that all Aldi's are the same, with how they are laid out and what products and produce they sell so you are almost guaranteed to find what you want from here no matter which store you choose to shop at and they have decent affordable prices too! #aldiisaiight
Pictured is my all time favourite Chocolate they sell, they are addicting and tantalise your tastebuds in all the right ways unfortunately they only have 7 in a packet.
