ALDI Hawthorn reviews
36Great place for cheap but high quality food and always fun to look at the random stuff they have in their centre isles, especially in Christmas. They also have some great British options every now and again.
Absolutely worst service from make manager that was on at Aldi Hawthorn at 9am. Brushed me off completely
Went to buy something for dinner and ended up getting a telescope, cordless leaf blower and a mig welder
Special buys always has something for everyone.
Even stuff you didn't know you wanted.
Shrinking range of Australian made products and more questionable quality imported items coming in. I don't think I've ever seen staff smile, so I cant imagine management are looking after them that well. Carpark and store cleanliness are gradually getting worse since store has opened. Special buys availability is not very reliable, check online before going. Don't enjoy the Aldi experience anymore and don't really look forward to shopping at any Aldi stores in general. Some items are just not worth the low price given the substandard quality and dubious country of origin.
Definitely save money shopping at aldi on a hundred dollar spend at coles Woolworths or foodland, and even buying some items on special i save on average thirty dollars sometimes more but always 25dollars or more.and what i can't buy at aldi i go elsewhere.
Love the value for value home brand products here. And always value for money fresh fruits and vegetables.
My favourite place to shop! Aldi has a great range of regular and unfamiliar products, and with this store being the closest to me, it is where I tend to shop most. Can definitely recommend this to anyone living nearby!
N. K.
I have made purchases in this store on other occasions and the staff are very friendly but today it was not the one who attended me, it was not the guy with glasses with a bad attitude and arrogance.the other very friendly staff
Interesting lots of different European style food.
Well priced, and great to have not only the "2 other big supermarkets".
Tassie salmon (picture)
Medium-sized standard cline of other aldi stores. Useful but missing lots of items I need, and with a tendency toward low quality knock-off products with less healthy component parts.
Really friendly staff and manager. Helped me out with snow gear and ringing around to other Aldi stores to source items they didn't have. Nice clean store too.
Well laid out with wide aisles and plenty of stock of grocery needs plus other items on special including clothing, hardware and other house hold goods
Always good for toilet paper. And you could do so much better across the Belair Road at Woolworths or Foodland. I was here at Aldi today and bought just 3 items, I did the rest of my grocery shopping across the road, where there is so much more choice.
I like shopping at ALDI for ease of selection because the range is small making shopping quick. What I hate is the last time I was in store not being able to find products I specifically visited for weren't available and there were no staff around to assist so the cashier had to close open a heavy box for me (I have a disability)
Great deals, easy to shop, trolleys on main floor. Bulk buying is great at this store, free parking downstairs.
I went on weekday so people go for whatever the might have forgotten from the weekly shopping. The parking area is small so I guess on the weekend might be a little tricky to find an empty spot.
Rumour has it, all the unsold stick comes here for clearance. We do find sakes items late in their cycle. The procurement is excellent though, lots of Australian sourced food products and the homewares and specials sell out fast.
Quite a lot of products but not much variety in brands. Meat and veg is Oz sourced which is great, and good value too. Cheap nappies and baby food pouches. You pack your own bags as the assistant swipes them and it's very quick and efficient
