ALDI Hallett Cove reviews
32 They seem to be better stocked here than Southgate?
Staff are always pleasant and they have a good range of fruit and vegetables.
I can't fault the quality of Aldi food. The availability of their specials is unreliable! Not sold out - delayed. Delayed to when. Just delayed!
Sometimes 50% cheaper than the bigger chains, Drakes used to be cheap but now seem to be as expensive as Coles and Woolies so Hoorah Aldis! Oh! And the staff are friendlier than the staff at the big chains also.atleast at the Hallett Cove store. You guys rule!
Nice store always well presented and clean. Friendly helpful staff who work hard to maintain this. And VERY GOOD PRICES no corporate greed for profiteering off the pandemic here. So glad we have Aldi at Hallett Cove!
Ive noticed on 2 occasions that the shelve price is different than the checkout price I questioned this and at first was told maybr Im looking at the wrong item I daid to check this is the second time I was charged differently, I was then given the product for free not that I wanted it for free just to put the right prices on items.
I've always bought the winter vegetables from aldi, nice variety of baby carrots beans broccoli and cauliflower, not any more hardly any broccoli 1 to 2 pieces no more sweet baby carrots just of cuts of tasteless carrots and the price has gone up as well. Don't mind paying extra but not for less quality of product.
We love Aldi at Hallett Cove, SA, because it is a great store with easy parking nearby and never too crowded.
Aldi worker Tom was great during checkout and fantastic with the kids in the line before and after me. He talked to them and made a game out of filling the trolley. So nice to see.
Good, different, unusual. Brand name clones are ok and the special buys are sometimes worth having.
Nice bananas. They never have any white Lebanese bread when I go on close. It makes me sad: ' (
Been going here since it opened. Most items seem to be cheaper than the other supermarkets. Just wish they had baskets for when you only need a few items. And maybe a deli counter.
Aldi I find is a great store for a good selection of products at great prices. I have gone to Aldi stores and Hallet Cove is know different to other stores. I recommend Aldi to anyone who wants to save money and see great products. There is good parking and easy access into the stores.
Good products and good prices
But their customer service is poor.
When it comes to opening more checkouts.
Barnacle bills Excellent service. Big W had some bargains. Where are all the shops. To many empty stores. Going downhill.
Great store friendly staff.would be great to have more soya and vegan products in all ALDI stores
The store is great, but if you're going to FORCE people to put coins or even buy tokens to put in the trolley I expect to be able to find a trolley bay that lets me get my coin or token back. If you don't park in the carpark directly outside Aldi there is only ONE other Aldi trolley bay which is usually full with NON-ALDI trolleys.
This trolley bay is right next to a door so is usually where the trolley collectors stack huge amounts of other trolleys.
So frustrating to have to seek out a woolies or foodland trolley even when we are only going into aldi or simply risk your coins and tokens.
Staff not ready to help.
Rearranged the store and things without changing the labels so under pies you find frozen seafood. Manager promised me to change but that was 2minths ago and nothing happened
First time I've been in Aldi for over a year.
Witnessed an old man being told by a young employee that he could not help him lift the lawn mower he just helped him put on the trolley into his car as the policy was the staff could not leave the store.
I was gobsmacked. This man paid for the 300 dollar Aldi purchase and myself and another customer helped him to lift it into his car. I'm so used to community service in the hills I was so surprised he could make a purchase for 300 dollars and get no assistance. Customers were really unimpressed. Just a small gesture can turn someone's day around. Aldi can focus on training their staff to be more community focused and show they care.
It's value for money shopping here.
But are the ques at the cash register worth it not really.
A place where you may be able to find some cheap stuff. I found that Woolworth and Coles have a far wider choice and overall provide better value if you consider that both Woolies and Coles have fantastic specials, provide trolleys and packaging and do not puni people for using their credit cards.
