Airport Whyalla Motel

My elderly mum, sister and I were recently here for 3 days, and were greeted by friendly, professional and accommodating staff at reception. Our rooms were super clean, tidy, with comfortable beds and quiet, we all slept well. Had a great kitchen, dining and lounge area and excellent hot showers. Manager periodically checked all's well, and if we needed anything further. It was a pleasant stay and 'two thumbs up' given by mum! Thank you very much to Nick and the staff. ~Sophie

Clean, neat, no one on reception, had to call to find key, no one on reception when left. But had everything, bed a little old but ok

Very friendly owners Grant and his wife. Just need to have different switch for light in kitchen as shower extraction fan very noisey or newer one. Beds comfortable. Happy to recommend this hotel.

The stay was fine, but not impressed with the communication and promises that were made to refund an overcharged amount of $250 from my bank account. After many phone calls, and promises to refund, i am still waiting 5 weeks later. I had to logde a dispute with my bank, and for this reason i will not be staying here again, absolutely disgusting, and inconsiderate. I am very angry about this, as they dont seem to give a damn. Not a good start to taking over a new business.

Good apartment but needs to be more clean! Spiders was everywhere had to kill them so every could go to sleep.

Took money out of my account MONTHS later for “cleaning” because the carpet needed vacuumed.isn’t that was you’re supposed to do anyways? Wouldn’t recommend staying here at all!

You won’t be disappointed!

Although of the older style motel, it is very roomy and comfortable for a moderate price. There is a kitchen and laundry onsite, so your stay is very well accommodated for. We had a problem with our booking, but it was handled professionally and courteously. Our only complaint was with the shower curtain (they always suck in and stick to your body), but if this is the only complaint, you will enjoy your stay.

Staff very friendly rooms clean and comfortable large soft towels plenty of hot water, enen birthday day cake for supper, lovely
