Adelaide Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara reviews
6This temple is so peaceful and nice. They welcome everyone warmly. I liked how calm it was and how they're friendly to everyone. It's a good place to learn about Buddhism and feel relaxed. I'd tell anyone looking for a peaceful place to visit here
Soo nice to see this temple after many years in the old one at athelstone, and great to see 2 more monks at the moment so it's not all on one's shoulders to serve the community.much deserved facilities for the community, one small detail would be to have writing in english in the kitchens/facilities as even my Sri Lankan family that grew up in Sri Lanka and speak sinhalese struggle to read and some cannot read at all. Info on facebook is also mostly untranslated so the future generations of sri lankans are not going to connect with their culture. Can't attend if you cannot read it.
Have good parking space. Very calm and quiet
Good place to meditate? ️.
It's a Buddhist temple (Sri Lankan) and located in Crafters. Nice scenery, calm, and quite place.
The temple has ample enough parking. Spacious and beautiful. Located on the leafy mountains of Crafers. There’s still a small bo-tree and there’s no chaithya too. There are too theros residing at the temple now.
Very friendly, genuinely interested, good people.
I can't recommend this temple highly enough.
If you have a problem this a great place to go. You are likely to be given homework, because you should fix your own problems, but with this temple to provide a different perspective and maybe some guidance you are likely to find the right path forward.
(Pictures of Buddhist Christmas Buddha's day of Birth, Enlightenment, and Death, 2021 in cold temperatures, there was warm drinks and ample community warmth to compensate)
