2Excellent burgers and beer at the bar after a training rowing session on the Torrens. Great company.
Great venue for functions. Amazing locations and views of Torrens River, Adelaide Oval and riverside area. Full commercial kitchen inc two large pie warmers (although the oven is very temptamental). Full audio and video facilities available. Reasonable drink prices. Room hire is expensive ($800) compared with Torrens Rowing Club ($500) but it is larger and better equipped, just depends on your needs. Rafters make decorating easy. Carpeted floors keep the ambient noise down. Reasonable amount of parking, especially if able to double park, for maybe 20 cars if directed. Large balcony, handy for smokers etc, with glass doors which can be easily closed to keep out smoke and cold, but they're not bifold, so it can't be fully opened (I don't think). Bathrooms/toilet cubicles are very run down.
