Dr Isaac Harvey had postponed my original surgery for a month and when they gave me an appointment to talk about a new surgery date, I genuinely forgot about my appointment and when I called them 15 minutes after my appointment time they told me they were in the middle of texting me to tell me they were cancelling my surgery and to find another specialist because they weren’t doing it anymore. They gave terrible service before this, telling me to research “MBS item numbers” and anaesthetic fees to find out how much I will be out of pocket (which I’ve never had to do for surgery before) They also made me feel like I didn’t have a genuine problem with my hand as I am younger than usual to have the issue I went to them about. Overall it was a bad experience and I’m now glad they have cancelled my surgery so I can find a better surgeon.
