Adelaide Hills Medical Clinic Stirling

Second time at this clinic in the last 2 weeks. First me, then my son. The staff is super friendly and the Doctors have a lot of knowledge and they are local.
I think this clinic is my new go to for sure.

Dr Brumby was wonderful. So kind, empathetic and extremely helpful to my issues.
The surgery was efficiently run by warm and friendly medical staff.
I could more highly recommend this practice.

Wonderful clinic. I visited as a new patient on 13/1/2023 and was greeted with warmth, a friendly smile and a cheery disposition. Appointment times are not a long wait either. Very happy with the service and will definitely return, despite not being my local clinic.

Fit my son in on short notice, who had a fever, and didn't require a pcr like other clinics (he is autistic and won't let me stick anything up his nose), lovely receptionist and the gp was so nice and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be back:)

I have been coming to this surgery for many years now. My GP and all the staff here are always welcoming, helpful and friendly. I still prefer to come here even though I live further away, as I feel like I matter as a person. I always feel like I'm talking to a friend - much appreciated when feeling vulnerable.
The medical care here is second to none, I always know I will be referred to the best specialists when needed.

This review is directed at the clinic operating hours and not the incredible practitioners that work there which we’ll continue to see. My partner and I have been going to this clinic for the last year and think the practitioners here are fantastic however we are super disappointed with the Christmas/holiday hours this medical clinic has decided on. My partner is working through a medical issue and has not been able to get treatment after her prescription ran out Boxing Day because the clinic has shut up shop for nearly 2 weeks over the Christmas period with no doctor to talk. We shouldn’t have to look for a new clinic (not that anyone is taking new patients) or go to the hospital and start the process again to get treatment. Management of this clinic need to understand that they can’t just close doors to patients over the holidays; it’s already hard enough not having weekend access and having to take time off work to talk to a doctor. Medical clinics are an essential service that need to operate all year round especially considering we are in the middle of a pandemic. We understand that doctor’s need a break too but it needs to be managed accordingly. At the very least there should be a rotating roster so that a doctor is available on each day.

The doctors and staff are great, but how can we truly diagnose over the phone? I believe many diagnosis will be missed and many will be harmed due to telehealth …. Is this really in the interest of public health and safety? COVID is real, but so is heart disease, cancers and many other diseases that kill many more than COVID. I feel for all medical staff right now but I also feel for those who are forced to be seen in a car park, or attempt to be seen over a telephone. This is NOT medical care. Doctors, nurses, admin, your government is failing you and your patients.

Excellent and Quality service. Reception to Doctor is never compromised. I am very thankful and grateful to Doctor Laura Germein and all other doctors and reception staff.
