Made an initial enquiry a few month's ago prior to my scheduled kitchen renovation to bring my Tasmanian Blackwood table and sideboard back to life. Quote was really realistic considering the initial purchase price I paid.
Decided to go ahead and am so thrilled to see the end result, its better than new. Steve did an outstanding job, you can tell he has pride in his work.
We were happy to pay for a pickup and delivery service and took great care in bringing the furniture back into the house.
Would definately recommend restoring your furniture with Adelaide French Polishers before looking at buying new.

Had a very poor experience with this company.
Poor communication and when we finally got our furniture back one of the legs in our sideboard was split (which wasn't the case when we sent if off to them). Their answer to this was to put some filler in it and tell us it was just 'movement'.
I wouldn't recommend them.

I am absolutely thrilled with both the service and the work that was completed on my dining room table. I have had a lot of work done before on bits and pieces because I love old furniture and unfortunately the lovely man who has helped me over the years had recently retired. He highly recommended this firm so I approached them. Stephen and his staff were courteous and very helpful. Nothing was too much. My beautiful and much loved dining room table was stripped, repaired and restored. I was so thrilled that they are about to do the same for an Edwardian suite that I have had in the shed collecting dust for the last 6 years.
