Adelaide Casino reviews
71Conference rooms are the best I've seen yet. Great serving of food from the catering also. Very happy.
Great place to gamble but it can get very costly if you're not in control. Highly recommend to go in with q budget. Most tables aren't open during the day which is a shame.
Place is a joke really, poorly run and service is iffy at best, their only reason to exist is to separate you from your money and they don't even pretend to do anything more. Handy place if you need the toilet during your night out though! They get 3 stars for that
Rude and arrogant staffs and security guards, the staff in sports bar area is better than Chandelier room.
Recommend do not go here!
Had a nice time there. What happened to a dress code it's got lots of pokies machines. Most games are electronic. Only one floor for general public that I seen.
A nice casino took our money too quick but that's what they're there for! Our dealer? Server on the roulette wheel was very nice & explained how the betting works (I had NO IDEA) but still lost it all quick anyway
It's a great experience going to be casino, it has atmosphere and everywhere you look there's something else to do, just remember to gamble within your budget, cheers!
Once again 'The District' has out done its self. Great vibe, amazing beers on tap, and a new amazing poker zone. If its just a beer, or a catch up, this is the bar you want to visit! Oh did someone mention Brewers Shout? !
Rude and obnoxious staff.so called pit bosses in sports bar area with zero customer skills.queuing up for ages to get an overpriced drink only to be served by sullen bar staff.then get ripped off at blackjack table when casino only loses with 23.
Recommend do not go here! Unfortunately if you want to gamble on tables in Adelaide there is nowhere else to go.
I guess that's why they can treat their customers with contempt.
Minus 5
The sky city is looking great with the new building.
Had lunch at Central Cafe, food was good but the Asian lady who attended to us at the order counter was very rude & not very accommodating.
Lucky noodles is more nicer + food really great & yummy
Central Cafe, Very busy spot and for a good reason, Great value meals lots of specials throughout the week for members (free to join) Over all we will be back.
We went to the balcony bar.
Whilst the views would be fantastic in the daylight, at night we found the glass safety barrier way too reflective and too high to provide a decent viewing experience
Not sure why it was so bad here but for some reason it works at 2KW for example
Also on the night we went it was very cold and wet - inside the bar as well as outside
There seemed to be little or no heating provided
Also all the chairs and tables were totally wet, yet they weren't adequately wiped down by staff if at all.
You could see people arriving and quickly leaving due to this
I did take some lovely photos (see below) but I had to hold my phone high above the reflective glass barrier to do it
Lucky I'm tall.
Very difficult to get in. 1 entrance open.dress standards are wanting.had a meal there and on another table a bloke removed his thongs and wandered with bare feet. I and my companion will not return.
Came in today (wed 26 may) from around 12: 30pm - 2: 30pm.pleasant experience with a dark-haired man wearing glasses when my family and i signed up to be members.he was very helpful, friendly, and patient.as it was our first time here, we asked for help withdrawing credit from a lady wearing glasses with shoulder-length dark hair at the same area.she was so incredibly rude and condescending that we left and asked for help from someone else who actually understood respect.we were directed back to the area where she was and she started complaining about us when we were only 1m away from her, sulking that she had to explain it like 5 times and we were too incompetent to understand (even though it was her who misunderstood our question and directed us to the wrong area!).
5 stars for the man and -10 stars for the lady!
Whilst waiting for our train we had a little time to kill so we went to the casino. (prior to Covid19)
I don't particularly like casino's at all but the layout of the Adelaide casino has a nice atmosphere.
My husband played one machine and tripled the money he'd put in so in effect that paid for our dinner.
It's nice that there's multiple restaurants to choose from and live music if wanting to dance or simply enjoy the vibe.
Strongly recommend do not buy the chicken snitzel unless you have already eaten. The smallest snitzel I have ever seen 4 bites all gone
The Central Cafe is an ideal place to go for a meal after seeing a show at Festival Theatre. No reservations are required.
Awesome for a new 5 stars hotel and pleasant for the Casino gamblers. Well present bars and all staffs are friendly the location is great it is in the heart of CBD. I recommend it you all to visit and you will love it.
No class, too many 18 year Olds walking around. They kick out people who don't deserve it and leave people in that should 100% be kicked out. The place feels soulless and unhappy in general. They don't even try and make you feel comfortable to spend with hype and fake happiness. Place operates like a joke.
Had the Beef schnitzel. Like the crispyness but it was a bit dry thus a bit on the hard/tough side. The one simple trick to cooking this dish - which is simply the steak - which is to not cook it too long. Inside it still needs to be tender/moist. That's the biggest flaw in most (almost all) eatery. Too long!
